‎Today’s training session took an unconventional turn as the technical panel introduced a unique learning initiative in which FIFA/FAM Elite referees tutored players and officials on football rules and regulations. The session aimed to help the team avoid unnecessary fouls and improve discipline during matches as preparations continue for the upcoming NBS Bank National Division League, with the first match just around the corner. ⚽💪🏾

‎Changalume Barracks Football Club extends heartfelt gratitude to Brigadier General Gilbert Mitawa, former Team Manager of the club, for his generous donation of four match balls ahead of the 2026/27 National Division League season.
‎
‎When approached by the Resource Mobilisation Team regarding the team’s need for match balls, Brigadier General Mitawa responded without hesitation. Recognizing the importance of proper equipment as the club prepares for its inaugural season in the National Division League, he donated four high-quality match balls to support the players’ preparations.
‎
‎While handing over the balls, Brigadier General Mitawa wished the team success in the upcoming season and emphasized the value of discipline on and off the pitch. “Talent wins games, but discipline wins championships,” he advised.
‎
‎The donation was officially received by the Club Patron, Lt Colonel B. Luhanga, who commended Brigadier General Mitawa for his continued love for the team. “This gesture reminds us that Changalume is more than a club, it is a family. We are deeply grateful to Brigadier General Mitawa for remembering his team and stepping in when it mattered,” said Lt Colonel Luhanga

‎As Changalume Barracks FC gears up for a historic season, the RESOURCE MOBILIZATION Team is appealing to all well-wishers, supporters and partners to come forward. The club still faces several shortfall areas, from training equipment to player welfare and every contribution - no matter how small - will make a difference.
