Picudo Sportfishing

It’s been a slow pick but the Marlin bite just turned on up the Pacific side! El Niño has brought 90 degree sea temperatures to our local waters. There’s still a few to riyst up though!!🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

The El Niño sure has warmed up the local waters! 89 degrees right out front and lots of tropical weather early in the season. Sailfish, tuna, and a few Marlin have been keeping us busy!

It’s sure been a great bite on the Dorado lately! Our El Niño sea temps are over 80 degrees and the big open ocean Dorado are lurking! Jessica and Doug caught a few nice ones! Yarrrr! 🏴‍☠️

Our Spring season is in full swing! It’s been mostly about the Sea of Cortez side providing the fleet with Striped Marlin, Dorado, and some quality Wahoo! We’ve been thoroughly enjoying it! Yarrrrr!🏴‍☠️

The bite has slowed down in our local waters but we’re still scratching up some nice Dorado, Marlin, and a few Wahoo! As we transition into Spring it’s time to head inside the Sea of Cortez! It’s shaping up to be a fantastic season! Yarrr!🏴‍☠️

On our way out from bottom fishing we got smoked on the short medium (ballyhoo) The reel was screaming big time! 20 minutes later we were surprised when this monster came alongside! 83.5 lbs weighed at Gricelda’s Smokehouse! Great work and congrats to Bill and the Boyz! Fatty for sure!

The Roosterfish bite stays red hot and offshore is still offering up Marlin, Dorado, and a few wahoo! It’s been fun fishing lately with great conditions the norm!

We’ve been enjoying some excellent fishing lately with a wide variety of spieces to choose from! Fabulous conditions and great whale and sea life watching just tops off a perfect day! We’re loving our Winter bite fer sure! 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️
