I have not been using FB much for my fitness career or info sharing. I have many videos on YouTube with different ideas on exercise. Many are geared toward people over 50. I incorporate many ideas from my own education (courses and following top trainers online like Jeff Cavaliere) and adapt them with an emphasis on safety and injury prevention. Check my channel out. Here is a recent one that really increases strength for myself and all my clients.

Need a gym setup at your home. Contact me south of the Rio Grande and I will help you design a nice space for your home workouts. No expensive free weights needed. Strength bands will do and there are currently 3 types I have been using for years. There are bands with handles (covered preferred to avoid cuts and abrasions), latex ones which are readily available online and soft material ones with probably latex woven into them (these are not easy to find but are easy on the hands). The other things I recommend are a pair of workout gloves especially for the hard latex bands, a door anchor to use indoors to attach bands to, a large heavy carabiner and strap to use over any bars or secure rods you can attach them to at home. I also use those in playgrounds and then attach my bands to them. A heart rate monitor is a must so you can track how hard you are working especially when first starting out. Stay within a safe zone.

I have been designing short exercises for all my clients to do at home especially if they only see me once or twice a week. I often do a mix of whatever exercises come into my head for 10 to 20 minutes. I keep moving throughout to keep my heart rate elevated so that I have a cardio workout while doing strength training. It's a form of HITT (high intensity interval training).

If you want to improve your cardio fitness do some HITT or high intensity interval training. I do it running. stationary biking and in between my strength training sets. The idea is to jack your heart rate up for shorts periods then recover. I do it watching my heart rate on my watch. It is said to be better than slower steady state exercise. In as little as 5 to 10 minutes you can get more out of it. Try it.
