Here performing rear delt raises with 85lb dumbbells… with strict form. This was an ‘on the road’ workout, post Olympia 1995.
It's all about how much you put into your workouts!
For most of the career, I trained each body part roughly once per week... believe me, that was enough!
If done properly, once per week is more than enough. The DOMS I used to get the days after training legs in particular would last for 4-5 days... then it'd nearly be time to do it all again! Most people throw up when they train legs for the first time with me!
Over the years, I'd often show people my workout on paper and they’d say: “That’s barely anything, that’s easy!”
So I'd reply reply: “Ok, but come and do it. Come and train and let’s see if you wanna do more when we’re done.”
The rest is history.
