The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) welcomed several of its National Federations to Mexico City for its FIBA Americas Mid-term Assembly for the 2023-2027 period. Attending this conference on behalf of the Grenada National Basketball Association were President Kester Elcock and Secretary General Rondell Johnson.

Special thanks to the Ministry of Sports for assisting to make this happen.

St. George’s, Grenada — June 6, 2025

Eight of Grenada’s rising basketball stars will departed Grenada today June 6, 2025 to participate in a prestigious Panam Sports Program camp in Paraguay.

The team, comprising four male and four female players, will train, compete, and represent Grenada internationally before returning home on June 15.

The contingent is led by Head Coach Mr. Kester Elcock and Assistant Coach Mrs. Carla Salazar-George, who will guide the athletes through a rigorous program of skill development, team building, and international competition.
