Nuevo Diario en colaboración con el municipio de El Mante, Tamaulipas, estrenará el próximo 20 de marzo la serie documental “Río Mante expedición a lo profundo”, una producción del documentalista, Oliver Velázquez Quijano y Bruno Espinosa de Alba, director de la comisión nacional de buceo subterráneo y espeleología de la Federación Mexicana de Actividades Subacuáticas.
A lo largo de cuatro episodios veremos como un grupo de buzos de cueva, dedicados a realizar expediciones en México y otras partes del mundo, se aventuraron al sur del estado de Tamaulipas, México, donde se encuentra el nacimiento del Río Mante.
En la serie podremos ver los riesgos que enfrentan los buzos al descender en las profundidades de las cuevas del Mante y sus alrededores, con el objetivo de generar mapas actuales de estos lugares poco explorados y tomar muestras de los organismos que habitan ahí para su estudio.
Además, este documental nos lleva a reflexionar sobre el cuidado del agua y la importancia de fomentar el turismo sustentable para la conservación de los ecosistemas naturales.

Nuevo Diario, in collaboration with the municipality of El Mante, Tamaulipas, will premiere the documentary series “Río Mante: Expedition to the Deep” on March 20th. This documentary is produced by Documentary filmmaker Oliver Velázquez Quijano and Bruno Espinosa de Alba, Director of the National Commission for Underground Diving and Speleology of the Mexican Federation of Underwater Activities.
Over four episodes, we will see how a group of cave divers, dedicated to conducting expeditions in Mexico and other parts of the world, ventured south into the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, where the source of the Mante River is located.
In the series, we will see the risks divers face when descending into the depths of the Mante caves and their surrounding areas, with the goal of generating current maps of these little-explored places and taking samples of the organisms that live there for study.
In addition, this documentary leads us to reflect on water conservation and the importance of promoting sustainable tourism for the conservation of natural ecosystems.
