The Mexican Society at the University of Birmingham is committed to be a gathering entity for the Mexican community and for anyone interested in our culture, traditions and history. For that purpose, the MexSoc organises regular gatherings on campus (normally at Bratby in Staff House), friendly football matches, social events/parties, reunions to present member’s current and previous academic research works, as well as film screening sessions. Within its social media profile, the MexSoc shares academic and newspaper articles to show features of the Mexican contemporary phenomena, schedule its activities and shares their outcomes.

Discover Mexico in a first-hand basis, there is so much more beyond sombreros, nachos and tequila! (But don’t worry, we will have tequila)
