Always great to have Rafael back in Mexico for another few days of cave diving! And if we’re right, this might even be his 10th trip to Zero Gravity!
3 days. 3@globalunderwaterexplorers Cave 2 dives. 619 minutes underwater, with a maximum depth of 23.7 m and an average depth of 16.6 m.
He asked for deeper sites… so where do we go? 🤔
Ox Bel Ha was the answer !
A fantastic environment to work on complex navigation, with multiple intersections and jumps, taking us from large, darker freshwater passages to beautiful, smaller saltwater tunnels beneath the halocline.
And when we venture into the less-travelled sections, the cave never stops challenging us: silt, percolation, haloclines and changing conditions, mixed with some truly stunning geology.
Beyond the familiar stalactites and stalagmites, it offered pristine flowstone, rimstone pools, pearls, helictites and countless other formations waiting around the next corner.
Always a pleasure to show you around, Rafael. Thanks for coming back and sharing another adventure underground.
See you on the next one!
