The Cozumel wreck dive is usually centered around the famous C-53 Felipe Xicoténcatl wreck — a former WWII minesweeper intentionally sunk to create an artificial reef. It sits around 24–26 meters deep near Chankanaab and is one of the most iconic wreck dives in the Mexican Caribbean.
For trips departing from Playa del Carmen, Playa Scuba Dive Center offers Cozumel diving excursions and is a recognized PADI dive center. They organize small-group dives to Cozumel reefs and wreck sites.

The Dos Ojos System is one of the most famous underwater cave systems in the world, located north of Tulum in the heart of the Riviera Maya. It is part of the enormous underground river network that runs through the limestone of the Yucatán Peninsula.
Meaning of the Name
“Dos Ojos” means “Two Eyes” in Spanish. The name comes from the two large circular cenotes that look like two eyes when seen from above.

Geological Importance
The caves formed thousands of years ago when sea levels were lower and the caves were dry. During that time, stalactites and stalagmites formed. When sea levels rose after the last Ice Age, the caves flooded, creating the cenotes we dive today.
