A freediving competition is usually a few days. For Azul Freediving Challenge’s 10-Year Anniversary, we’re turning it into two full weeks of training, learning, performance and community in the cenotes of Mexico.
Across the event, we’ll have:
• Open cenote coaching and official training
• Equalization, CNF and No Limit workshops
• An AIDA Depth Competition Safety Course
• A First-Timer Competition Workshop
• Official AIDA ranking dives and a static apnea competition
• Three official depth competition days
• The signature 70m Challenge
• Community dinners, talks, an anniversary raffle and closing celebration
The official competition welcomes certified freedivers, from first-time competitors to experienced athletes.

El pasado fin de semana tuvimos el gusto de formar parte de la AIDA Pool Competition CDMX 2026, organizada por aida_pool_competition_cdmx. 💙
Como parte de la premiación, regalamos dos inscripciones para Azul Freediving Challenge 2026 y sesiones de entrenamiento en cenote con PranaMaya para todos los primeros lugares.
Esperamos verlos muy pronto entrenando y compitiendo con nosotros en la Riviera Maya.
Fue un evento muy bonito en CDMX, lleno de atletas, jueces, safeties y personas comprometidas con el crecimiento de la comunidad de apnea en México. 🥹

Some local folks we found at Maravilla. They were super nice and even agreed to pose for us a little🤭
During this cenote session, we got a glimpse of some of the wildlife that lives inside Cenote Maravilla, including a turtle and one of the catfish that call this place home.
A small reminder that cenotes are not just beautiful places to dive. They are living ecosystems, and we’re just visitors.
