"Over time, I realized that, in different ways, I had always been doing the same thing."
That little girl who played in the plastic pool in the backyard of her home in Olavarría, Argentina, and eagerly waited for family vacations to run into the sea, had no idea what the water had in store for her.
Today, I like to meet her again and tell her that yes... she fulfilled one of her biggest dreams and became a lifeguard. But before that, she chose to become an early childhood teacher, because even then she had already discovered one of the things that made her happiest: accompanying young children as they explored the world.
Almost without realizing it, life gently brought together her two greatest loves: children and water.
First as an assistant at the swimming club where she had learned to swim. Then as a children's instructor at summer camps, and later as a lifeguard... and from there, one door after another began to open: the sea, swimming pools, lakes, dreams, and a whole new world waiting to be discovered.
Every experience opened a new door, and without even noticing it, water was always there, quietly guiding the way.
As time went by came seasonal jobs, a backpack on my shoulders, and my first great leap: leaving the comfort of the familiar to discover everything the world had to teach me.
That's how the journey began.
And with it came people, cultures, landscapes, and opportunities I could never have imagined.
I worked, learned, and served in different parts of the world. Sometimes as a lifeguard, other times teaching swimming or aqua fitness, or accompanying children. And sometimes, simply learning from the opportunities and the generosity of the people life placed along my path.
Every place left its mark.
Every person offered me a new perspective.
And every training answered one question... while opening many more.
Little by little, another journey also began.
A much quieter one.
The journey inward.
I was drawn toward women's wisdom, pregnancy, birth, energy work, and self-discovery. I realized that the body, the water, and the soul had never truly been separate.
The path taught me about humility.
About faith.
About unconditional love.
About letting go.
About the importance of our roots.
About the beauty of simplicity.
About the perfection and wisdom of Mother Earth.
And about the certainty that the most meaningful encounters often arrive disguised as coincidence.
Then, in 2023, Aguahara found me.
And I felt that all the waters I had inhabited throughout my life were finally coming together in a new way.
As if an invisible thread had been connecting every decision, every journey, and every lesson all along.
Today I understand that I never stopped doing the same thing.
I have always been accompanying.
Always caring.
Always holding space.
I was simply discovering new ways to do it.
That's how Latir Agua was born.
A space where play, movement, care, nature, water, and the heartfelt desire to accompany others in reconnecting with themselves all come together.
And when I look back...
I can only smile and feel grateful.
Thank you, little curly-haired girl, for never giving up on your dreams or your trust in life.
And thank you, water...
for showing me the way from the very beginning.
