Congratulations to Abigail on completing her IANTD Essentials course in a single-tank configuration 👊

Several training days were spent refining the core diving fundamental - breathing, buoyancy, trim, propulsion techniques and situational awareness under task loading, and teamwork, before starting her sidemount course.
Like a house of cards, advanced skills need strong foundations to build on.
And to finish the week on another good note: Happy Birthday, Abigail!

Congratulations to Aaron and Shawn on successfully completing their IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Plus course.

With rough sea conditions keeping us away from the ocean, the deep cenotes became the ideal classroom to complete their training and prepare for their next challenge.
The goal of this course was to help them safely explore and document deeper shipwrecks as part of their Great Lakes wreck documentation project.
A big thank you to Freya for assisting during part of the training.

Teammate Wanted For A Technical Cave Upgrade | July 31–August 2, 2026.

As a Full Cave Diver, you may find yourself diving in regions with deeper caves, such as France or Florida. In these environments, especially when using larger steel tanks, your bottom time may be limited by minimum decompression limits rather than gas supply.
The Technical Cave Diver course will teach you how to safely extend your bottom time and perform decompression using 100% oxygen.

Prerequisites: Full Cave Diver or equivalent.
