POV: you’re 35M deep and suddenly the ceiling starts to FALL.. but it’s not rocks - it’s fireworms 😳🔥
Every bubble hitting the cave roof made them let go and drift down everywhere.
Cool? Yes.
Do I want one touching me? Absolutely not. 😂
And then right at the end… a teeny baby nudibranch appears like the cutest little jump scare. 🐌✨

Spot the difference… or is it the same fish? 👀
That long, flowing dorsal fin you see on juvenile drumfish? It doesn’t stay. As they grow, it completely disappears.
Same species. Same individual. Totally different look.
If you didn’t know, you’d swear these were two different fish 🤯
Did you get it right?
Think you know your rays? 👀
One of these is a Southern Stingray and the other is a Caribbean Whiptail Ray… but can you tell which is which?
One has a broader, more angular shape, while the other has a rounder body.
Do you know which one is which?
Drop your guess in the comments and let’s see who really knows their rays.
POV: you accidentally enter the territory of the ocean’s tiniest psychopath.
This little damselfish is barely bigger than a snack, but the attitude? Absolutely unhinged.
No teeth.
No size advantage.
Just pure confidence and a violent commitment to defending its territory.
Nature really said: let’s make this one adorable and full of rage.
SUP - stand up paddle. If you have no balance (like me 🥹) this is especially difficult. BUT if you have the inclination/curiosity to try - DO IT. Very fun. DO recommend.
Warning: Free nasal rinse with each fall 😂
Try to spot what I’m filming.
Only real ones will catch it 👀
Spot it = dive buddy secured 🤝 you CAN dive with me 😉
BONUS: it won’t look like this for long 🧐
From above, it looks like nothing… just still water and silence.
But drop below the surface, and it tightens around you.
The light disappears faster than you expect.
The quiet gets heavier.
And then… you see it.
A tombstone 🪦
Waiting in the dark.
There’s a place in the jungle where the water turns to darkness… and then suddenly, to crystal.
Cenote Sabak Há isn’t the kind you drift through — it’s the kind that pulls you straight down into the unknown.
At the surface, it’s still.
Drop below ~10m… and it opens into a vast, seemingly endless darkness.
Some say it’s the deepest cenote in Yucatán.
Some say it still hasn’t revealed its bottom.
Either way… you feel it.
This isn’t about marine life or light beams —
it’s about silence, depth, and that moment where curiosity outweighs fear.
Would you descend? 👀

When there’s not much current and you go
VERY slowly.. the local spade fish will sometimes use you as a cleaning station. Glad to be of service lil buddies 🫡😂
