At WetSet Adventures , we’re incredibly grateful for our community and for the beautiful ocean that brings us all together.
On April 1st, more than 20 local children will head to the beach, build confidence in the water, and explore the reef alongside professional guides. We’re honored to be one of the sponsors helping make this experience possible.
At WetSet, we’re proud to support this day by providing boats, gear, and experienced staff ensuring it’s a safe, meaningful, and unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Thanks to the incredible support of our community and the Puerto Morelos Poker Run 2026. Our hearts are truly warmed by the participation, generosity, and spirit everyone showed.
When we teach children about the ocean, we’re not just sharing knowledge we’re inspiring the next generation to love and protect it.
Hope to see you on April 1st!
Cheers !

It has come to our attention someone is claiming to be taking over WetSet Adventures. This is not true. The same owner and his business manager partner Felicity Maloney are still working very hard on the business we love. We continue to work hard to provide quality and safety with a healthy respect for the reef and park permits. Please contact WetSet directly or come by when scheduling your dive or snorkel trip.

Today's sighting of two Spanish slipper lobsters on Fish Market, was a rare treat, so yay!!!! We never encounter them during the day and rarely at night! Spanish lobsters in Mexico refer to two distinct types of lobsters: the Spanish slipper lobster found in the Caribbean, and the more common Caribbean Spiny. We also saw a small scorpion fish and spotted moray . The water was like glass!

Butterfly fish can be easily identified by their disk-like bodies and elongated snouts, which help them reach into crevices in the coral for food.
Many species have a dark spot on their rear fin, mimicking an eye. This adaptation confuses predators, offering butterfly fish a better chance at survival.

Elkhorn coral live in shallow habitats, which give them abundant access to light. Like all animals, Elkhorn coral requires oxygen to survive, most of which they obtain through special, photosynthetic algae living in their tissues called zooxanthellae. Therefore, in order to help zooxanthellae produce as much oxygen as possible, Elkhorn coral live in shallow regions between 1 and 5 meters deep to ensure that abundant light reaches the zooxanthellae, maximizing photosynthesis.
