Spotted on today’s surface interval: this beautiful starfish was just hanging out on the sandy bottom at El Cielo, the most famous natural cove in Cozumel.

Starfish play an important role in the local ecosystem. They help keep reef life in balance and are a sign of healthy waters. That’s why we always admire them from a distance and leave them exactly where they belong.

If you’ve been dreaming about warm water, colorful reefs, and unforgettable marine life, this is your sign. Come dive Cozumel with us and see it all for yourself: drift dives, coral gardens, turtles, rays... and maybe even a starfish or two.
