On November 12th of 1993, a man stepped into the cage in the name of Jiu-Jitsu, honor and family tradition.
Courage, technique and will are not enough words to describe his accomplishments that day. What he has done has inspired the lives of countless people and opened the eyes and doors of the whole world to our beloved sport.
On behalf of the Jiu- Jitsu community, the IBJJF would like to thank and congratulate Royce Gracie on the 27th year anniversary of his UFC debut.
