t’s a wide notion which is based on what the viewer feels on a conscious and base-instinct level. For example, when I see red roses I say they’re beautiful. The same applies to cute little puppies, kittens, nice architecture, natural wonders, stormy sea, etc. Beauty basically lies in the core of these creatures and objects. At the same time we often notice when women or men are physically attractive. In this case we say: “she is beautiful” or “he is handsome”.
