A principios de este 2023 tuvimos que decir adiós al emblemático lugar que nos hospedaba...
El muro tuvo que ser desmantelado y ahora una parte se encuentra en .
Es triste partir así, después de casi 20 años...por supuesto...pero también representa una oportunidad para mutar...para salir de la zona de confort...para crecer.
No es un adiós pero si un ... Que se queda abierto, como nuestro corazón por tener que dejar este "hogar".

The Gravity Ceiling is probably my wildest first free ascent! The route traverses a massive roof at the tippy top of Higher Cathedral Rock. The exposure is INSANE!!! While working the route I kept picturing the rope cutting on the sharp inverted dihedral… which definitely hampered my performance! Eventually I pulled my s**t together and thrutched my way to glory with belaying and shouting encouragement. The series of photos of this route are probably the best photos of me climbing! One of them even ended up in magazine! Just a handful of folks have freed the roof since and I really hope more people go up there because it is incredible, and makes a great finish to the Northeast Buttress or Mary’s Tears. The entire new school aid route still awaits a free ascent. I freed the other crux pitch “the banana chute” on top rope at 5.13 but it’s pretty run out and is in a waterway so it’s perpetually covered in vegetation. Maybe not worth it?
