Kata arranged in list form gives the impression of a start and end point, and an order of hierarchy. The wheel format illustrates that all kata are intrinsically related to, and governed by, Sanchin. There is a beginning point for the neophyte, but for the seasoned practitioner the journey is circular; the beginning forgotten, an end point nonexistent.

Huge congratulations to Sensei Henrik Larsen (Denmark), Sensei Jorge Monteiro (Portugal), Sensei Roy Flatt (England), and Sensei Luis Nunes (Spain) on being awarded 9th Dan.
