Our campaign ends here, but the future of Kedah football is incredibly bright! 🇲🇾🔰

​Today’s 1-1 draw means our Piala Emas Raja-Raja 2026 journey comes to a close, but I walk away immensely proud of what this team has achieved.

​I was appointed as head coach on September 3rd, just 15 days before the tournament kicked off on September 18th. Despite the incredibly short time frame, we managed to build a squad brimming with promising talent. I am so proud that the vast majority of our players are under 20 years old, with our youngest being our fearless 16-year-old goalkeeper, Solehin Solehin from SMK Kepala Batas. They showed immense heart against much more experienced teams.

​I want to express my deepest gratitude to Persatuan Bola Sepak Melayu Kedah especially our Patron, Dato' Zuraidi Bin Rahim - DZR, for the belief and trust placed in me to lead this team. A massive thank you also goes out to Assistant Coach Rafdi Rashid and Goalkeeper Coach Farid Baharom for their tireless work and dedication on the training ground.

​To the fans, thank you for your continuous support, energy, and prayers throughout this campaign. We felt you behind us every step of the way.

​This is not the end of the journey. I remain fully committed to continuing my work in football development, especially for the beloved state of Kedah. We will keep building for the future.

A tough 2-1 defeat today, but the fight continues! 🇲🇾🔰🔥

​We faced a painful 2-1 loss against Kelantan AZM this afternoon. This result makes our path to the top of the group much harder, but this tournament is far from over. Setbacks reveal a team's true character, and we refuse to stay down.

All of our focus and energy will be channeled entirely into tomorrow's crucial clash against PDRM FA. We will regroup, fix our mistakes, and come back stronger.

Today, we step right back onto the battlefield for our second group match against Kelantan AZM.

​Our focus is completely locked in. We respect our opponents, but we are hungry for another three points to solidify our dominance in Group D. The momentum is ours, and we are not slowing down.

​To all the Kedah fans in the Klang Valley, your support yesterday was electric, and we need that exact same fire today! Come down to Padang UKM C and Stand behind the boys, make your voices heard, and let's conquer this next test together.

A PERFECT START!
What a massive victory! 🇲🇾🔰🔥

​We came into this opening match with a fire in our hearts, and today, the boys delivered an absolute masterclass to secure a dominant 3-0 victory against Melaka! I am incredibly proud of the fighting spirit and tactical discipline every single player showed on that pitch.

​Massive credit to Syamer for drawing first blood in the 13th minute, and a special shoutout to Fariz for an incredible brace with stunning goals in the 17th and 53rd minutes! You executed our game plan flawlessly and showed everyone exactly what this team is made of.

​This is just the first step in our Group D journey, and we will stay humble, keep our heads down, and work even harder for the next battle.
The mission has just begun.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
What a phenomenal victory! 🏆🇲🇾🔰

​I am bursting with immense pride right now! Our boys from MADAD Soccer Academy have conquered Johor and brought the KESSUMA 2026 Championship trophy home to Kedah with an epic 2-1 victory over Pahang in the final today!

​A massive and heartfelt congratulations to Head Coach Raja Shaharul Amri for his brilliant leadership. I also want to extend my deepest appreciation to Ustaz Mohammad Yaakub Yusra and Mr. Hafiz Bett Hafiz Bett for their unwavering support, vision, and dedication to developing these incredible young talents. Success like this is built on the sacrifices made behind the scenes. Also thanks to Mzaz Garment HQ for supporting this team.

​To the players—my young warriors—I am so unbelievably proud of every single one of you! I saw your sweat, your tears, and your relentless hard work during our training sessions together. You fought like true champions today and showed the whole nation the true spirit of HijauKuning.
