⛳ 31st Bintulu Amateur Open Golf Championship 2026 – Round 1 Results

Round 1 of the 31st Bintulu Amateur Open Golf Championship 2026 concluded today at Kelab Golf Bintulu, with an exciting start to the tournament.

Aaron Hwang and Joshua Lim share the lead after both carding an impressive 1-over-par 73, setting up an exciting battle heading into the next round. Lee Ka Tung sits just one shot behind in third place with a 74, while the competition remains wide open with many players within striking distance.

Congratulations to all participants for a great opening round, and best wishes for the remaining rounds.

Monthly Management Committee Meeting – First Meeting of the 2026–2028 Term

Tonight, we held our monthly Management Committee Meeting, which also marks the first meeting of the 2026–2028 term.

A warm welcome to all our newly elected committee members. We are delighted to have you join the team and look forward to working together in serving our community with dedication, teamwork, and fresh ideas.

A Great Milestone for Kelab Golf Bintulu! ⛳

After a long wait, we are pleased to share that the tender for the construction of our new Kelab Golf Bintulu clubhouse has officially been called by the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA).

This is a major milestone for our club and brings us one step closer to making our long-awaited clubhouse a reality.

On behalf of the Management Committee, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to our President, YB Johnny Pang Leong Ming, for his strong commitment and continuous effort in securing the funding for this project from the Sarawak Government. Without his dedication and leadership, this project would not have become a reality.

We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Sarawak GPS Government for approving and funding this landmark clubhouse redevelopment project. This is a major investment in the future of Kelab Golf Bintulu and will benefit our members and the golfing community for many years to come.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) Bintulu Development Authority for its exceptional coordination, professionalism, and unwavering commitment throughout the tender process. Your dedication in ensuring that every stage was carried out in full compliance with the required procedures, while maintaining efficiency and delivering the tender within the stipulated timeline, has been truly commendable. This important milestone would not have been possible without BDA’s invaluable support, close collaboration, and steadfast commitment to excellence. We are sincerely grateful for your partnership and look forward to continuing this strong collaboration as we move towards the successful delivery of the new Kelab Golf Bintulu Clubhouse.

We now look forward to the appointment of the successful contractor and the commencement of construction soon.
