这个月，我们正式结束与 St. Anthony 学校匹克球场地的合作。
在 Bintulu 还没有足够场地时，是 St. Anthony 给了我们一个温暖的起点，让这项运动在这里生根、发芽。
我们因为匹克球相识，也因为热爱和坚持，让一片小小的场地，从几个人变成一群人。
每天搬器材、搭球网、设场地、收场地，不断改进，只为了让大家都能舒适自在地打球。
在这个小地方，我们感受到最真实的人情味，也留下了许多欢笑。
当学校面对水灾，我们公会也尽一份心意重新粉刷场地；
没有固定的负责人时，也总有人默默站出来扛起责任；
学校的 security Abang愿意帮忙我们 设场地和收场地；
也感谢所有背后默默付出的伙伴，是你们让 Bintulu 的匹克球一步一步走到今天。
回看过往的照片，一幕幕的回忆仍历历在目。
当然，在一路前行的过程中，难免也会听到一些不同的声音与误解，
虽然偶有委屈与难过，但我们依然选择相信
只要出发点是为了大家好，就无愧于心。
我们从不求回报，只希望大家能抱持一颗感恩的心，
一起包容、一起成长，也请珍惜身边每一位新手，因为你我也曾从零开始。
希望从这里走出去的每一个人，都能不忘初心，
继续传承这份热情，把温暖带到下一个角落，教导下一代，一起守护这个充满爱的社区。

🏫 Thank You, St. Anthony School – Our Warmest Beginning 🎾
This month, we officially conclude our partnership with the pickleball court at St. Anthony School.
Back when Bintulu lacked dedicated courts, this school offered us a home — a small, simple space that gave rise to something much bigger.
Through pickleball, we met, we grew, and we built a community.
Day after day, we carried nets, adjusted setups —
all done with love, to ensure everyone could play comfortably and joyfully.
In this humble space, we felt warmth, friendship, and the true spirit of community.
When the school faced flooding, we were happy to give back by repainting.
And even when there wasn’t a fixed person in charge, someone always stepped up to take responsibility.
We thank the helpful security Abang for always helped us set up and pack up,
and we thank every behind-the-scenes contributor — your quiet efforts made a lasting difference.
As we look through old photos, our hearts are full of memories.
Of course, along the way, there have also been some differing opinions and quiet misunderstandings.
Though they sometimes brought a little sadness, we choose to focus on the positive —
because when our intentions are sincere, we can move forward with peace and confidence.
We never asked for anything in return — just a little kindness and understanding.
Let’s all remember to carry gratitude in our hearts,
and please, welcome the newcomers with open arms — after all, every experienced player was once a beginner.
We hope that everyone who began their journey here will carry forward the spirit of pickleball:
never forgetting where they started, passing on the passion, and teaching the next generation with care.

B.R.U.C Novice Pickleball Tournament – June Edition ✅ DONE!
Our third novice tournament wrapped up with amazing energy, awesome rallies, and lots of smiles on court! 😄🏓
This time, we were especially excited to see so many new faces joining us — thank you for stepping in, giving your best, and being part of this growing pickleball family in Bintulu. 🌟
To the returning players: great to see your progress!
We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to our behind-the-scenes crew — the referees, coordinators, and volunteers. You kept everything running smoothly and made sure the players could focus on their game. 👏👏
And lastly… this is what B.R.U.C is all about: building community, growing the game, and having fun while we do it. 💛💙

📢 Tournament Pricing Update
Dear players,
We would like to inform you that due to a lower number of participants than expected, we’ve had to make some adjustments to our tournament pricing.
As the original pricing was based on a full number of participants to cover court fees, prizes, and other expenses, the reduced turnout means we are no longer able to sustain the previous rate. To ensure the event can still run smoothly and fairly for all involved, a small price adjustment is necessary.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
