Very likely Nikola is referring to psychical phenomena when he mentioned the study of non-physical phenomena. Science is often inclined to the physical instead of both the physical and psychical, the mind-matter constituent and constructs.

There are two types of energy - the physical and psychical. These Energy vibrates in different Environment to create Elements. Elements interacts to create more Complex Elements, Constructs or Entities, both animate or inanimate, organic or inorganic. Some of these physical and psychical energetics converge to manifest Beings.

In conclusion, all phenomenon have their own energetic signature or frequency.
