The State Government of Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia is happy to extend a warm welcome to your establishment to come to the state of Perak, Malaysia and be part of the WORLD ECOTOURISM EXPO 2017 (WET-EXPO) that will be held in the capital city of Ipoh from the 27 to 29 October 2017. The northern state of Perak celebrates "Visit Perak 2017" and to commemorate this years' long celebration, a calendar of colorful events, have been carefully planned to ensure that we attract visitors from both the domestic and foreign markets. The international event is designed to lend support and provide opportunities for participants to learn from each other and to share experiences especially from those working in ecotourism and supporting industries. The 3-day World Ecotourism Exposition (WET-EXPO) provides international and local tourism authorities, ecotourism related organizations, intuitions, associations, academics, corporate establishments with an exceptional opportunity to develop ecotourism activities at an international level. The international event not only allows you to present, but also to promote and sell your products, services, and know-how on the prospects of ecotourism. The event will give participants the chance to meet their potential customers, to seek new contacts and to establish a B2B dialogue with professionals.

The unique concept of WET-EXPO attributes its status as the only ecotourism promotion, both domestically and regionally. The WET-EXPO enables the various industry members from around the world to exchange experiences within the different sectors and assist in enhancing the collaboration between the private and government sectors. The combined effort towards the promotion of ecotourism should attract the attention of the authorities and with special interest to the masses to which this event is primarily targeted at.

The main objective of the WET-EXPO 2017 is to attract world attention and to create an exciting platform that generates awareness of our seas, rainforests, wildlife, wetlands, natural parks as well as the lifestyles of the indigenous minority communities worldwide. Aside from the exhibitors, the international event will attract an assemblage of the world's environmental luminaries, journalists and researchers who will conduct dialogue sessions with the related industry members.
