The corporate visit to Lih Mei Industrial Sdn. Bhd. provided members of the FMM Perak Branch Committee, the SYEC Sub-Committee and the Youth Sub-Committee with valuable insights into the company's investment journey and operations in Malaysia. During the visit, participants learned about Lih Mei Industrial's decision to establish its manufacturing plant in Taiping.
In addition, Mr Hsu from Lih Mei Industrial Sdn Bhd shared their initiatives and achievements in sustainability and green technology. Members gained valuable insights into the innovations in Noni products (Noni Botanical Beverage@ powder and Noni Wheat Fiber Biscuit) and how to support sustainable growth and promote responsible manufacturing.
Meanwhile, the corporate visit to PPE Industrial (M) Sdn Bhd provided members of the FMM Perak Branch Committee, SYEC Sub-Committee and Youth Sub-Committee who attended the site visits, gained first hand exposure to the operations of PPE Industrial (M) Sdn. Bhd.
Mr Gary Sim from PPE Industrial (M) Sdn Bhd also provided participants' knowledge on how glove manufacturing process, including the production flow and the technologies and techniques employed in the production of various types of gloves.

A total of 38 participants attended the programme. The session provided participants with valuable insights into how traceability enhances operational efficiency, product quality, regulatory compliance and supply chain flow visibility through modern technologies and smart manufacturing practices.
In addition, the session explored better practices for implementing traceability systems, the role of digital technologies in manufacturing and how end-to-end traceability enables manufacturers to reduce errors, improve productivity, strengthen quality control and enhance customer confidence.
