Many parents worry their kids might struggle when starting kindergarten, so they send them to a “prep class” first—to get familiar and build a foundation.
Diving works the same way.
If you’re planning to take your OW course but feel a bit worried about keeping up in open water, you can start with our pool-based OW prep session first ✨
We’ll focus on building your fundamentals—mask clearing, breathing control, body position, and getting comfortable in the water.
So when it’s time to head out for your island dives, you’ll feel more relaxed, more confident, and truly enjoy the whole learning experience 🌊
Diving isn’t just about passing a course.
It’s about feeling comfortable and safe underwater, and enjoying the ocean at your own pace.
Get prepared first—the experience will be completely different 😉

“Anything to see at this dive site?”
I hear this question all the time.
Sometimes, a dive even gets labeled as “nothing to see.”
But maybe… we’ve just forgotten why we started diving in the first place.
Remember your first dive?
Even the smallest fish and the most ordinary corals felt magical.
Being underwater, disconnected from the world—just your breath and the sound of bubbles—that quiet peace was everything.
Somewhere along the way, we became a little more “greedy.”
If there’s no big stuff, it suddenly feels like there’s nothing worth seeing.
Yet right in front of us—beautiful reefs, tiny fish going about their lives—we choose to overlook them.
This was filmed in Pulau Tenggol.
Next time you dive here…
will you slow down and notice them?
Or are you only looking for whale sharks?
Maybe diving was never about what you see,
but how you choose to see it. 🌊

Most divers learn with a jacket-style BCD during their PADI Open Water course, or when renting gear.
So it’s very common for us to get this question:
“Is donut BCD harder to use?” 🤔
Honestly — not really.
Both jacket BCD and donut BCD serve the same core purpose:
👉 buoyancy control
The main difference is just the design and how it feels in the water.
Think of it like learning to drive in a Myvi or Axia 🚗
When you switch to a different car, it might feel a bit unfamiliar at first.
But the fundamentals are still the same:
accelerator, brake, steering wheel.
After a couple of tries, you’ll get used to it 👍
Donut BCD works the same way —
it’s not harder, just different.
Today, we had two customers come in for a pool session to try out the donut BCD 🤿
One of them was a fresh Open Water diver.
After the session, their understanding of buoyancy improved instantly —
sometimes, all you need is the right setup and guidance.
If you’ve never tried a donut BCD before,
don’t guess — experience it yourself.
We offer pool sessions for you to test and compare different setups 🤿
Feel free to DM us to arrange a session!

Today I conducted buoyancy class in swimming pool, and when I come into the detailed explanation and tips to do it,
and my students were like:
👉 “OHHH… now only I get it!”
Honestly, it’s not their fault.
During the Open Water course,
you only have a few dives to complete 20+ skills.
There’s just not enough time to truly master buoyancy.
So many divers can dive…
but can’t really control themselves underwater.
And that’s the difference.
✨ Good buoyancy =
✔ Less air consumption
✔ Better control
✔ More safety
✔ WAY more fun
🔥 If you just got your OW cert:
Go find a dive center or instructor,
get back into confined water,
and REALLY work on your buoyancy.
Trust me —
it will completely change your diving experience.
