🥾🌿 6th USSRC Kampar Hike of the Year Completed — Bukit Kledang, Ipoh! ⛰️

This round, we focused on a beginner-friendly hike to encourage newbies to join our outdoor adventures. Although the turnout was lower than expected, we hope to see more members joining our future beginner hikes. 💪🌿

Special mention to Ms. Ng Yen Hong and her two daughters for taking up the challenge, although they were unable to complete the hike this time. 👏 The rest of the group successfully completed the hike.

A big thank you to Mr. Mok Hon Keong for leading and guiding us throughout the hike. 🙏🥾

🇲🇾🥾 Gunung Rambong, Lenggong — Merdeka Special Hike! ⛰️🌿

Another summit, another beautiful memory! ❤️

On 29 August 2026, seven hikers took on the challenge of Gunung Rambong, Lenggong, guided by Mr. Zakiruddin Gazali. And for this midnight adventure, we had another special guide lighting up our trail — the full moon! 🌕

After gathering and a short briefing, we started our hike at 1.15 AM. The trail took us through 3 checkpoints, with some seriously steep inclines along the way. 💪🥾

At around 4.00 AM, we finally reached the summit at 1,173 m / 3,848 ft! ⛰️

The summit welcomed us with thick mist, strong winds and freezing cold air. As morning arrived, we enjoyed the sunrise, took plenty of photos and proudly raised our Jalur Gemilang 🇲🇾 at the summit in conjunction with Bulan Kemerdekaan.

A simple but meaningful moment — letting our Malaysian flag fly high above the mountains! 🇲🇾❤️

We began descending at 8.20 AM and safely reached the starting point at 10.45 AM.

But the adventure wasn't over yet! 😄 Our guide brought us to two nearby waterfalls — Lata Putih and T**i 2 — before we finally headed back to Kampar.

Tired legs, happy hearts and another beautiful hiking memory completed. ❤️🌿🥾

A big thank you to Mr. Zakiruddin Gazali for guiding us throughout the adventure and to all 7 hikers for the wonderful teamwork and spirit.
