BMSC WISHES EVERYONE A HAPPY 69TH INDEPENDENCE DAY
As we celebrate Merdeka, letβs remember that Malaysia is like a swimming pool β we may all come from different lanes, different backgrounds, and different starting points, but we are all swimming in the same pool. πββοΈπββοΈ
In swimming, we learn something very important:
We may swim in different lanes, but we move forward together.
Sometimes the water is calm. Sometimes the waves are strong. Sometimes we feel tired and wonder whether we can finish the distance.
But we keep going.
One stroke at a time.
One breath at a time.
One lap at a time. π²πΎ
That is also what makes Malaysia special.
We are a country of different cultures, languages, traditions and communities. We may not always agree on everything, but we can choose to respect, support and encourage one another.
As BMSC, I hope we can continue to build a community where people come together through friendship, sports and a shared passion for swimming.
Letβs keep encouraging our swimmers β especially our young swimmers β to be disciplined, confident and supportive of one another.
Because the real victory is not only about who touches the wall first.
It is about growing together, supporting each other, and enjoying the journey. β€οΈ
On this Merdeka, letβs celebrate not only our freedom, but also the friendship and unity that make our community stronger.

BMSC President
