A Decade of Memories, Growth & Dreams Taking Flight ✨🩰

Today is a very emotional and proud day for me.
It has been a wonderful 10 years since Si Lin first stepped into Yolanda Dance Studio. Over the years, I have watched her grow—not only as a beautiful dancer but also as a humble, disciplined and graceful young lady.

Seeing her quietly improve, persevere through every challenge, and shine brighter each year has been one of the greatest joys of being her ballet teacher.

Today, Si Lin begins a new chapter as she heads to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), School of Dance, Singapore.
I couldn't be prouder of her and all that she has achieved.

As a teacher, there is no greater reward than seeing your students chase their dreams. It fills my heart with pride to know that Si Lin is now the second dancer from Yolanda Dance Studio to pursue professional dance education overseas.
Our first dancer is currently studying at WAAPA in Perth, and now Si Lin is continuing that journey at NAFA Singapore.

To Si Lin, thank you for trusting me to be part of your dance journey over these past 10 years. Keep your passion alive, stay humble, work hard, and continue to dance with all your heart.
The stage is waiting for you, and I know you will continue to shine wherever you go.

🇲🇾✨ Dance World Cup Finals 2026 – A Coach, A Performer, An Inspiration ✨🇮🇪

Our final dancer representing Team Malaysia at the Dance World Cup Grand Finals 2026 in Dublin is someone who wears many hats with pride — Jysebell Esther Binti Zeno.

A dedicated coach, choreographer, and performer, Jysebell took to the world stage with her solo performance, "Sari Ranyun," in the Senior Solo National and Folklore category, achieving an impressive 9th place in the world.

Beyond her own success, Jysebell played a vital role behind the scenes as the coach and choreographer of Tiara Izz Zayani, whose performance of "Dako Kin" earned Malaysia's first Silver Medal at the Dance World Cup Finals 2026.

As a proud member of Illeagle Freedom, Jysebell continues to inspire through her dedication to preserving and promoting Malaysian folklore dance. Whether performing on stage or guiding the next generation of dancers, her passion, artistry, and commitment shine through in every step.

Today, we celebrate not only her achievement as an international finalist, but also her invaluable contribution as a mentor whose work has helped Malaysia reach the world podium.

Today, we proudly celebrate an extraordinary achievement by Mohd Aydiel Izzuddin Bin Madri,who has etched his name into the history books at the Dance World Cup Finals 2026 in Dublin, Ireland.

With a breathtaking performance in the Senior Solo National and Folklore (Male) category, Dielo was crowned World Champion, winning 🥇 1st Place against the world's finest dancers.

As if that wasn't remarkable enough, he went on to achieve the highest honour of the competition by being crowned the 🏆 Grand Finals Winner – Senior Male 2026, a title awarded to the best senior male performer of the Dance World Cup Finals.

This incredible accomplishment is a testament to years of dedication, perseverance, and an unwavering passion for preserving and elevating Malaysian culture through dance.

Beyond the stage, Dielo is a visionary leader. He is the Founder and Team Captain of Illeagle Freedom, inspiring countless dancers through creativity, excellence, and cultural storytelling. He also serves as the Pengerusi of Persatuan Arusan Tari Malaysia, continuously working to strengthen and promote Malaysian dance both nationally and internationally.

His journey proves that our heritage is powerful, our stories deserve to be told, and Malaysian artists can stand proudly at the very top of the world.

Representing Team Malaysia with passion and versatility, Davis Yong Jin Yih delivered two outstanding performances at the Dance World Cup Finals 2026 in Dublin, Ireland, showcasing his excellence in both contemporary and Malaysian folklore dance.

In the Junior Solo Contemporary (Male) category, Davis performed his piece, "My World," earning an impressive 90.1% and achieving 9th place in the world.

His performance reflected not only his technical ability but also his creativity and artistry as both a dancer and choreographer.

He continued to shine in the Junior Solo National and Folklore (Male) category with "Rahakame," where he secured an outstanding 4th place in the world with a score of 87.7%, proudly bringing the richness of Malaysian culture to the international stage.

Beyond his individual achievements, Davis is also a proud member of Illeagle Freedom , a Sabah-based performing arts group that continues to champion Malaysian culture through dance and inspire audiences both locally and internationally.

10 July 2026 will always be a memorable day for Tiara Izz Zayani and Team Malaysia.
With a captivating performance of "Dako Kin" in the Children Solo National and Folklore category, Tiara earned Malaysia's first Silver Medal at the Dance World Cup Finals 2026, achieving an outstanding 90.1% and finishing 2nd place out of 35 contestants.

This remarkable achievement is even more special as Tiara successfully maintained her Silver Medal position on the world stage, reflecting her consistency, dedication, and excellence in Malaysian folklore dance.

Beyond her silver medal success, Tiara also embraced a new challenge this year. Together with Ivana Iman, she performed "Kami Sendiri" in the Ballet Any Style Duo category.

After many years dedicated to folklore dance, this marked Tiara's very first experience performing ballet, beautifully blending classical ballet with the rich heritage of Malaysian Borneo.
Her willingness to step beyond her comfort zone demonstrated her versatility and passion as a dancer.

Once again, Ivana Iman stepped onto the world stage and made Malaysia proud.

Competing in the Children Solo Ballet – Any Style category for the very first time, Ivana presented "Secret Garden – Adagio", a beautiful and expressive work choreographed by Principal Yolanda Chong.

Entering a new category is never easy, especially at the Dance World Cup Finals, where the world's best young dancers gather to compete. Yet Ivana embraced the challenge with grace, courage, and determination, proving that growth comes from daring to step beyond familiar boundaries.

Among 37 talented competitors from around the world, Ivana achieved an impressive 81.7%, earning an outstanding 9th place in the world and securing her place among the Top 10 dancers worldwide in her very first appearance in this category.

This achievement reflects not only her talent, but also her discipline, resilience, and passion for dance. Every rehearsal, every correction, every sacrifice, and every moment of perseverance led to this remarkable milestone.

"Secret Garden – Adagio" was more than a performance. It was a journey of artistry, emotion, and maturity — a reflection of Ivana's ability to tell stories through movement and connect with audiences beyond language and borders.
