First golf game after the pandemic.
I came back expecting a quiet, relaxing round.
Instead, golf gave me the full welcome-back package:
Slices, hooks, bunkers, water, OB, pars, bogeys, double bogeys, triple bogeys… and one almost birdie just to keep me emotionally trapped in this sport.
That’s the beauty and cruelty of golf:
you can suffer for 4 hours, question your life choices, lose a few balls, find none of them, then hit one good shot and immediately think:
“Actually, I’m quite close.”

First HYROX. Done!
We didn’t hit our target of sub 1:30 - but we walked away with something more valuable: perspective. (Roxzone 15 min)
HYROX is different. It’s not just about how hard you can go, but how well you manage effort, fatigue, and each other under pressure.
There were moments where the body wanted to slow down, but that’s where teamwork kicks in - a look, a word, a switch - and you keep moving.
For a first race, we showed up, we finished, and we learned.
Now i know what it really takes.

The hardest part of the journey isn’t the heavy lifting. It’s showing up, day after day.
Consistency is the only “secret” there is. That applies to your training and your nutrition. I keep my routine simple so I can stick to it: train hard, recover well, and hit my protein numbers without overcomplicating it.
