First golf game after the pandemic.

I came back expecting a quiet, relaxing round.

Instead, golf gave me the full welcome-back package:

Slices, hooks, bunkers, water, OB, pars, bogeys, double bogeys, triple bogeys… and one almost birdie just to keep me emotionally trapped in this sport.

That’s the beauty and cruelty of golf:
you can suffer for 4 hours, question your life choices, lose a few balls, find none of them, then hit one good shot and immediately think:

“Actually, I’m quite close.”

Good to be back. ⛳

HYROX is one of those events where you suffer, question your life choices halfway through, and somehow still have fun doing it.

The energy, the crowd, the teamwork and the atmosphere make it an experience unlike anything else.

Now I understand why people keep coming back for more. And i will go back. Here are the event organisers pictures i like to remind myself.

First HYROX. Done!

We didn’t hit our target of sub 1:30 - but we walked away with something more valuable: perspective. (Roxzone 15 min)

HYROX is different. It’s not just about how hard you can go, but how well you manage effort, fatigue, and each other under pressure.

There were moments where the body wanted to slow down, but that’s where teamwork kicks in - a look, a word, a switch - and you keep moving.

For a first race, we showed up, we finished, and we learned.

Now i know what it really takes.

Yesterday we ran a full HYROX simulation — every station, every run, every challenge. .cheras .my

It wasn’t about being the fastest. It was about pushing limits, understanding our bodies, and building the capability to go further than yesterday.

Progress isn’t loud.
It’s built through discipline, consistency, and showing up even when it’s hard.

March is coming. 💪

The hardest part of the journey isn’t the heavy lifting. It’s showing up, day after day.

Consistency is the only “secret” there is. That applies to your training and your nutrition. I keep my routine simple so I can stick to it: train hard, recover well, and hit my protein numbers without overcomplicating it.
