The KL Women's Artistic Gymnastics Development Competition 2025 has successfully took place on 21st June 2025 (Sat) at GymnExcel Gymnastics Centre (KL State Training Centre), providing young gymnasts with the opportunity to complete their National Grading assessments up to Level 3.
This event welcomed 39 artistic gymnasts from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Melaka, each showcasing their skills, determination, and passion for the sport.
The event ran smoothly, thanks to the incredible teamwork and support behind the scenes.
A heartfelt thank you to all gymnasts, parents, coaches, judges, and volunteers who have attended the competition. Your dedication continues to inspire the next generation of gymnastics excellence.

Kudos to Mr. Chin Kim Heong and Mr. Sam Thong Chee Wai on successfully attaining the FIG MAG Brevet Category 4 at the FIG MAG International Judging Course (XVI Cycle) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 1st to 5th May 2025.
It has been quite some time since KLGA has had representatives achieve an FIG MAG Brevet, making this achievement even more significant. We are incredibly proud of both of you. May your accomplishment serve as an inspiration to all our judges to strive for greater heights.

The Kuala Lumpur Gymnastics Association (KLGA) successfully held its Annual General Meeting on 30th April 2025, at Endah Parade, in which the Executive Council 2025โ2027 was elected.
The election saw no changes to the top leadership positions, with the President, Deputy President, and all three Vice Presidents continuing their terms:
President: Mr. Mike Ng S*k Hoi
Deputy President: Mdm. Petrina Low Lai Hun
Vice President 1: Mdm. Afrita Ariany Nasril
Vice President 2: Mr. Ti Deng Jay
Vice President 3: Mdm. Celine Lin Si Ling
We welcome Mdm. Chuah Siew Hoon as our newly elected Honorary Secretary, and Ms. Beverly Low Bee Ting as the Assistant Honorary Secretary โ both elected unopposed. The Honorary Treasurer, Mdm. Foong Peik Chow, retains her post, and Mr. Faizal Bin Ishak joins as the Assistant Honorary Treasurer, also unopposed.
Newly elected to the council are Ms. Melanie Low Bee Leng and Mdm. Jaclyn Puah Hoay Way. Additionally, Mdm. Mary Khoo Swee Lynn and Mr. Muthu Kumaran Ramadas have been appointed as the Auditors for this term.
We bid farewell and extend our heartfelt thanks to our outgoing council members Mr. Yasuaki Tsutsui, Mdm. Yap Lee Peng, Mr. Chin Kim Heong, and Mdm. Evon Tan, for their invaluable contributions from 2023 to 2025.

Thank You, Mdm. Lo Joo Sim โ A True Icon of KL Gymnastics
After 40 remarkable years of service, Mdm. Lo Joo Sim has officially stepped down from her role as Honorary Secretary of the Kuala Lumpur Gymnastics Association at the AGM held on 30th April 2025.
Known and respected across Malaysiaโs gymnastics community, Mdm. Lo is a pioneer in rhythmic gymnastics (RG) - an active member, judge, and author of Gimrama, published in 1995. Her lifelong dedication has helped shape the sport and inspired generations of gymnasts, coaches, and officials.
In recognition of her outstanding service since 1985, KLGA President, Mr. Mike Ng proposed and the AGM unanimously supported the conferral of the title Honorary Secretary Emeritus.
The Association thank Mdm. Lo for her visionary leadership and immense contributions to the sport. Her legacy will always be a part of KLGAโs identity.
We also extend a warm welcome to Mdm. Chuah Siew Hoon, our newly elected Honorary Secretary, as we look ahead to the future with gratitude and pride.
