Growing up, all I knew was to keep going.
Until one day, I stopped and asked myself:
What am I actually doing all of this for?
We're already halfway through the year.
Have you been constantly measuring your productivity? Or have you been keeping yourself busy just to feel like you're doing enough?
There's nothing wrong with being productive. But understanding the root of your motivation is just as important as continuing to move forward.
Otherwise, you'll eventually find yourself right back where you started.
Lately, I've been feeling tired of it all. Watching so many people—and society as a whole—trying to keep up simply because everyone else is.
Is it just me, or does it all look... exhausting?

Do you have a very heavy Earth chart or perhaps multiple graveyard branches (Chen, Wei, Xu, and Chou) in your BaZi chart?
While these combinations can tell us a lot about a person's tendencies, have you ever stopped to ask what the underlying cause really is?
Very often, the advice given is:
"Don't be lazy."
"Face your problems."
"Stop sweeping things under the rug."
"Don't procrastinate."
While this advice may make sense, it usually only works for a short period—often depending on how motivated you feel that day.
The sustainable breakthrough doesn't come from forcing yourself to take action.
It comes from having the courage to look beneath the behaviour and understand what's truly driving it.

Knowing your bazi chart is more than just about another piece of information about you.
12/07/2026
When I first got my Bazi read, it was during a hard season of my life. I was told I was "a woman who would bring bad luck" to my husband.
Later, I got divorced.
I wasn't happy sitting with that as my "fate." So I decided to take power over my own life — and mastered the art of Bazi, and the art of energy alignment.
Here's what I've come to understand: Bazi, at the end of the day, is just your default energetic container. Inside it are your conscious and unconscious patterns — some call it your karmic patterns. But none of it was ever meant to keep you stuck in a loop, or make your life a misery.
The first universal rule in life: life happens for you, not to you.
Once you understand how you contribute to your own outcomes, you can take active action — shift your behaviour, realign your internal energy and emotions, through real mind-body work.
And when you do, the outcome in your life will change. That's not fate. That's mastery.

Being a double Fui Kong (伏空) woman, my chart was heavily condemned in classical readings.
Fui Kong is considered a "commanding leader" chart — someone deemed to hold great power, responsibility, and high discipline. And because of that, many classical texts simply didn't support it in a woman's chart.
So growing up, I always felt like my natural independence and leadership meant I wasn't the "soft, gentle woman type." When I later found out what I actually was, innately — I struggled to accept it.
I was literally told I "wasn't feminine enough" by an ex. (Which, in hindsight, was pure gaslighting.)
That's why I worked very hard to make peace with myself — to actually accept who I am. And today, I can proudly say: I am very me, and I'm more at peace with myself now than I've ever been.
This is why, when you read your own Bazi, learning to love what you find is just as important as understanding it. And struggling with this is more common than you'd think — I see it in my clients all the time.
Just recently, a client of mine felt guilty for simply being better than someone else at something. That's how deep this can run — even talent can trigger shame instead of ownership.
Here's the real question: if you don't learn to love yourself, how are you supposed to use what's already in your chart to actually live a better life?
You can only unleash your greatest potential once you start loving who you are. And many people stay stuck right here.
