Royal Perak River Endurance 2016 is organized by Indera Sakti Event Management with the support from Malaysia Canoe Association (MASCA) to gather kayak atheletes nationwide. The competition is organised to encourage water sports and river recreational acitivities. The competition will involve two-paddlers as a team with an estimated distance of around 147.5KM. The competition hopes to attract kayaking athletes and enthusiasts nationwide as well as promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

Standing tall at 60 meters of height with 2.6 km long, the elevated structure of this highway seems like splitting the top of the forest topiary. Rawang Bypass (Rawang-Serendah Highway) is the expressway that connect Rawang, an emerging town in Selangor to Kuala Lumpur. With the total distance between this 2 city is approximately 30km, it will shorten a two-hour journey to 30 minutes.

This highway is passing through the lush green forest park of Selangor. Spanning over 108,000 hectares, Taman Warisan Negeri Selangor is the third largest park in Peninsular Malaysia. This also means that we would be driving alongside treetops or above them on the elevated stretch. The elevated structure is purposely built to be curvy to save a lot of trees from being cut down.
