Play Art & Design also manages Tugu Drum Circle, a free to join community drum circle based in Kuala Lumpur that have been meeting regularly since 2002.
The video below shows part of a non stop 2 hour drum circle with 40 special needs children with their kids and care givers. It was a collaboration between Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Balai Seni Visual Negara and Tugu Drum Circle fcilitated and led by Paul Lau.

Tugu Drum Circle were part of Balai Seni Visual Negara(National Visual Arts Gallery) collaboration project with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia), "Communication Through Arts" for 40 special needs children of varying physical and mental disabilities. We played warm up games, conducted a workshop and community drum circle for 2 hours straight without a break. The children, their parents and care giver volunteers had a ball and didn't want to stop.
Feedback from UKM head of Psycology and Psychiatry department and BSVN organiser and head curator, "That was awesome! "The kids were amazing. I never imagined that they would be totally focused for 2 hours without a break." "You and your team are fantastic." "I'd like to invite you to hold community drum circles for our entire staff at UKM."
