“Sometimes, in the midst of our busy lives, we forget to take a break and immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature”.

ARCIIUM was very happy and grateful to collaborate with .my which was our main sponsor for this trip.

This is our second trip of the semester, we went hiking at Bukit Berekeh . Once we reached the hill’s summit, we were served with such a breathtaking and magnificent view. Enjoying sunrise and stargazing with friends were the best moments ever. Then, to take a respite from the noise and bustle of the walk, we rested our bodies in the pure cool water of Air Terjun Lata Penyel.

Overall, ARCIIUM's second trip of the semester was a success, and we made many wonderful memories. Congrats to everyone who made it to the summit. We can only hope that future shows will be as fascinating as this one.

[ARC BEREKEH X LATA PENYEL ]

Assalamualaikum and hi ARCians‼️📢 With the collaboration of ARCIIUM and Kahf, we brought to you our first trip for the semester: Berekeh X Lata Penyel ⛰️This scenic hill is located in the heart of nature, offering breathtaking views 🌄 and an exciting challenge for all hikers.

Both are known for its panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and we will be rewarded with an incredible vista once we reach the summit. The sense of accomplishment and satisfaction we will feel after completing the hike will be worth all the effort we put in. 🎆

[DEEPEST CONDOLENCES]

On behalf of ARCIIUM, we are deeply sorry to hear about the tragedy happening to the victims of the Batang Kali landslide. Let us all take a moment to pray for the victims and their families. May they have all the strengths with them to be patient.

To keep everyone up to date on the situation, the Batang Kali landslide tragedy occurred near the Father's Organic Farm campsite, Gohtong Jaya. The search and rescue team has discovered 21 dead bodies, and multiple are yet to be discovered [as of 8pm 15 Dec]. According to News Straits Time, the landslide occurred due to soil saturation. Geologist Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Ibrahim Kamoo also mentioned that the continuous rain for the past few days caused the soil structure to weaken, thus making the slope in the area unstable.

we would like to remind everyone to be safe in nature and to always take precautions in all possibilities. ARCIIUM will take into account the recent incidents and act accordingly in planning our future programs.

Once again, we would like to express our deepest sympathies to the families involved in this incident and deep condolences to the people involved.
