Declan’s 5 years of training on his own. Still needed to change everything.

Before weight: 88kg
Before Waistline: 92.5cm

After weight: 77kg
After waistline: 78.5cm

Duration: 6 months

Before approach me, Declan had already been training for 5 years on his own.

His goal? Is to build a better physique, gain confidence and carry himself with more presence at work and in life.

Since from time to time he needs travel, we start with a diet from the given baseline. We started tracking calories, build awareness and structure of the food choice he had to make better choices wherever he was.

He knew it’d be a new experience. But through the process, it wasn’t just his physique that changed, his mindset, discipline and daily habits levelled up too.

The result exceeded his expectations during this coaching period.

Fitness was never just about the body.

It’s the habits and daily choices you build that shape your physique, your health and how long you keep both.

Translation šŸ‘‰ Good morning, Coach!

We’ve completed this fat loss phase! I’m also about to fly to China now. A few days ago I uploaded my current physique photos and I’m really satisfied with this fat loss result, even better than what I originally expected!

I got my body fat tested a few days ago, and it’s already down to over 15%. My weight has also been stable between 77-78kg, and this is a state I really like for myself.

I think what made me happiest this time wasn’t just the results, but that I enjoyed the whole process. I barely had to overthink anything and I just followed your plan step by step, and that’s exactly the approach I’ve always wanted. Because I know that if I had planned it myself, I would’ve kept adjusting things back and forth based on all kinds of thoughts along the way, and eventually I’d just stop and give up. This is also the first time I’ve stuck with a fat loss phase this seriously and consistently all the way through.

Thank you so much, Coach, for your guidance and support throughout this journey!

READ AND SAVE THIS šŸ‘‡

1. You can’t pick where you lose fat.
Your body loses it everywhere, not just one spot.

2. A calorie deficit is what makes you lose fat.
No deficit = no fat loss. Simple as that.

3. Walking adds up fast.
10 -12k steps a day makes a big difference over time.

4. Protein keeps you full.
Less hungry = easier to stick to your diet.

5. Lifting weights changes how your body looks.
More muscle = a tighter, leaner looking waist.

6. Most belly bloat is just salt, not fat.
Water retention isn’t the same as fat gain.

7. Sleep affects your fat loss hormones.
Bad sleep makes losing fat harder.

8. Cardio helps, but it’s not the main thing.
Your diet and daily steps matter more.

9. One bad weekend can undo a good week.
2 days of overeating can cancel out 5 good days.

10. Staying consistent is the real secret.
The longer you stick with it, the leaner you get.

The final dance for 2026 is complete!

Jason just closed out his 2026 stage season with 2 medals in natural competition🄈🄈 (Classic Bodybuilding & Men’s Jeans Model) in hand this year and if you’ve followed the journey, you know this wasn’t a straight line to the top.

Competition wasn’t ever about the medals; it was about becoming the person you are while chasing them. It’s about discipline in the quiet moments and showing up even when you’re not feeling it. Trusting the process even when it feels slow.

Next up: new phase, higher bar. We’re already talking about what 2027 looks like and I can tell you, it’s going to be a different level. We come back stronger, sharper more dialed in than ever.

That pump feels amazing. But don’t mistake a good pump for real progress. Muscle isn’t built in one workout. It’s built over years of showing up, even when it’s not flashy.

Why does the plan keep failing?

Not because the plan is wrong. Because there’s a gap between what you want and what you’re willing to do for it.

Either close that gap by raising your discipline or close it by lowering your desire.

Most people just live in the gap, frustrated, blaming the program.

Which one are you going to choose?

Peak week will test your head before it tests your physique.

Most people panic and start second guessing the plan. The flat, tired feeling is temporary and it’s working exactly as it should.

Trust the process. The fullness comes back. Your job right now is just to hold your nerve.

Preparing for his first natural bodybuilding competition felt like stepping into entirely new territory for Jason Yip

As someone who has experienced many different things in life, he described this journey as putting himself in an unfamiliar place and learning a completely different skill set from scratch.

From practicing posing routines to mastering precise calorie counting and food choices measured down to the gram.

This level of discipline was a stark contrast to his everyday lifestyle habits, requiring a complete shift in mindset and routine.

Naturally, there were challenges along the way. Adjusting to a structured eating plan, building new physical skills like stage posing, and staying consistent through the ups and downs of contest prep all tested his patience and resolve.

But with a well planned strategy and steady commitment, things came together as the weeks progressed.

What makes this journey even more remarkable is that this is Jason’s first time ever competing in a natural bodybuilding show and he’s doing it in his mid 40s.

Rather than letting age hold him back, he’s proving that with the right mindset and preparation, what once seemed impossible is well within reach.

First time on stage, 4 medals around his neck šŸ„ˆšŸ„ˆšŸ„‰šŸ…

Alex walked into this not knowing if his body was even capable of standing on that stage.

No competition background. No idea what ā€œpeak weekā€ even meant.

Just a guy who decided one day that he wanted to find out what he was made of.

What changed wasn’t just his physique. It was how he showed up for training, for tracking food and check in’s, for himself even on the days it would’ve been easier not to.

He stepped out under those lights a completely different person than the one who started this journey.

But here’s the part that matters more than any medals…

He proved to himself that the version of him he imagined months ago, the one who didn’t exist yet was real all along.

That’s the real win who earned it.

This is also one of his best birthday gift for himself after months of consistency of his great effort! šŸŽ‰
