OBSTACLES and CHALLENGES = GROWTH 💯
No martial arts class should be particularly "comfortable". In fact, I'd argue every class shouldn't be that.
Yes, the kids do need to feel comfortable enough to do the class - but that comfort comes from their trust & respect for their coach. In return, the coach has a DUTY to introduce new challenges that push their growth 🔥
Here we have three of our students training their headstands. The first is understanding the form, the second made a big leap of faith and stumbled (😂) and the third has almost mastered it - to the point where he's one-handed 😂
Are headstands dangerous? Potentially. But it's doing dangerous things in a safe manner that teaches kids to be daring and calculative enough to take risks in life‼️
Hard times create tough people. Easy times create soft people. So if the times are easy growing up, it's the adults' (parents & teachers) duties to expose the kids to controlled challenges 🔥

2 weeks ago our very own had his Amateur Boxing Debut and he brought back the gold !! 🏆🔥
Despite the 2 year age gap, Adi (age 14) took on the challenge, stepped into the ring, and maaaaaan did he put on a show !!
But what's most impressive (in my opinion) isn't what happened in the ring (even though holy crap that was phenomenal) - but what happened in the months leading up to it. You've shown tremendous heart, discipline, and most of all - GRIT.
So with that being said, Congratulations Adi 🫶🏽
It was well EARNED 🔥🏆💪🏽
