Sherwin started personal training with me in late 2017, intending to lose weight and be fitter and healthier. Our biggest challenge then was juggling his frequent work-travel schedules and social life while staying accountable.
Throughout the years, we've encountered a lot of setbacks and stagnation, and each has helped us to understand Sherwin better and figure out the right solutions. As we progressed, we learned how to communicate and manage our expectations better through regular check-ins, micro-goal settings, configuration and breaks, and rinse and repeat.
After going through numerous seasons of fat loss and maintenance phase, in the present, Sherwin;
🚀 has dropped 17kg, from 95kg to 78kg (picture).
🚀 has gotten a lot stronger (from barely being able to complete three regular push-ups to pushing-up with 15kg on his back and pressing 25kg each arm).
🚀 gained muscle and lost fat.
🚀 gained confidence.
🚀 knows how to make informed lifestyle choices (i.e. sleep routine, steps, protein intake, portion control, etc.).
And these are some significant changes and improvements I have witnessed from Sherwin’s dedication and hard work over the years.
Seeing how far he has come and his fitness progress makes me feel inspired, happy, and proud. 🥹
Looking forward to seeing more wins and progress from you, Sherwin!

Alex is a devoted family man as well as an accomplished business owner. Despite having a hectic schedule daily, Alex still manages to make time and put in the effort to not only lose body fat but also improve his physique and health along the way.
Alex was kind and generous enough to offer to share his online coaching experience with me and here’s what he had to say;
“With Eric’s help and coaching, I was able to see improvements to my body shape and health I never thought possible. There were many times when I felt like giving up as timing was an issue not to mention the stress from work and irregular sleep, but Eric has never failed to find the right solution to help me every time.”
“Eric has always been there to coach and support me throughout my journey. I’ve learned a lot about my body and what works for me in terms of sleep, nutrition, and training. It has changed my life for the better.”
I couldn’t be more happy and proud of Alex’s journey and accomplishments. Well done Alex, looking forward to seeing greater improvements and progression in days to come.

When I first started working out, I didn't know where to begin or what to look out for, I thought by simply showing up at the gym, that alone would get me the results I wanted. Back then, I didn't have a guide to point me in the right direction on what I should be prioritizing and doing to reach my goals. 🗺
Hence I've created this guide to help those who are just starting or have started their health and fitness journey but aren't sure of what to do or where to start 🧭
The subjects covered in this guide are some of the "big (reality) rocks" that I think everyone should be focusing on if their goal is to maximize progress and results and it covers sleep, nutrition and workouts. 🪨
This guide is not a complete solution to all your health and fitness-related problems, it's merely a stepping stone and hopefully, you'd be encouraged to read up more about each subject and apply what works best for you upon finishing this guide 📈
I wish you the best of luck in your health and fitness journey and I hope you're able to find this guide of value to you. Feel free to share and tag your loved ones below or anyone whom you think will benefit from it 💪🏽

Edmond is a long-time client of mine and over the duration that we've been training together, he has put on a decent amount of muscle mass onto his frame. However, he wasn’t happy with how he looked despite the consistent progress that he achieved during his training sessions as his personal goal was to look leaner.
So while he put in 100% effort during his PT sessions and also the workouts that he did by himself, one of Edmond's roadblocks was his diet and nutrition due to the nature of his work and weekends of family time, his eating habits were erratic and involved a lot of eating out.
With that in mind, we sat down together and came up with a customized nutritional plan for Edmond where meal timing, portioning and meal prep suggestions were shared to keep his calories in check to achieve his goals. True enough, once Edmond committed to the nutritional plan, results and data began to show signs of progress as the weighing scale and measurements began to drop.
The pictures above were taken right before MCO3.0 (lockdown) and were 6 months apart. To date, Edmond is still training at home with a couple of bands and dumbbells and being mindful of his physical activity while still adhering to his diet (not as aggressive with the deficit of course), making small progress, and wins each week. The key takeaway is to be consistent with your actions and focus on the bigger picture especially in a journey like Edmond's during these times.
