At peace with where I am, focused on where I’m going.
Time flies and so many things happened in between the 2 lifts.
Something you need to know, today marks the 7th time I trained Sumo Deadlift, in my entire fitness journey. (7 weeks of experience, Lol)
Maturing in the training is the biggest win for me. Back then when I was training Weightlifting, I lost sleep over failed lifts, to the point I find it extremely difficult to enjoy training, actually no such thing back then. 😭
I vowed not to torture myself (mentally) the same way ever and make it a point that sport training is part of my life but not all.
These days I look forward to training because it was the only time I gave myself full attention to make that 0.05% improvement in every single session, let it be improvement in weights, RPE, or mood or the way I ‘see’ myself.
How do you find joy in training?
By PR?
By getting more composed?
By others feedback and validations?
By showing up?
I hope you find joy in what you can and have control of 🤗
4 months late, better late than never.
Asian Powerlifting Championship 2025
