Before Aquabubs, I was just a mum teaching my own babies how to swim π
That was more than 20 years ago,
simple games in the water, helping them feel comfortable, one small step at a time.
When I later started looking at swim classes, I realised something was missing.
Most pools were too cold.
And there werenβt many programmes that really understood how to teach babies and young children gently.
I kept coming back to the same thought,
if a child doesnβt feel comfortable, how can they feel safe enough to learn?
So I created the kind of space I would have wanted back then.
A place where children can build confidence first, and skills naturally follow.
And even now, 10 years on, everytime I see the happy children in the pool, Iβm reminded why I started.
