As we close out 2025 we have saved one of our international veterans for last. A striker and left winger for Kalgoorlie College Football Club, Jhy ended this season with the club's U16 Best and Fairest and Player's Player Awards, he also helped bring home the U16 Premiership and League Titles for KCFC, was the Men's B Grade Runner Up Best and Fairest, and also achieved the Goldfields Soccer Association's Golden Boot Award with 40 goals. Jhy then concluded his incredible year on another high when he brought home the Bronze Medal in the Kuala Lumpur Invitational Cup. A deserving profile to close out 2025!

FIRSTLY CONGRATULATIONS! HOW WAS KUALA LUMPUR?
Kuala Lumpur was great, the weather was a big challenge, there wasn’t much rain, only rained one game out of the six

BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT DURING THE TOURNAMENT?
Proudest moment was the penalty kick goal I scored and we came away with a win in that game. After 3 overseas trips (2 Borneo and 1 KL) it was so good to finally get a medal

AFTER ALL THESE COMPETITIONS, WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST LESSON LEARNED?
Biggest lesson would be keep your head up, keep pushing no matter if your down or the ref seems against you, those games are the greatest comeback

The day started with a loss in the semi final against Malaysia's FC Setia Alam 2:0, however that didn't deter our boys from digging in and winning the bronze against Singapore's EuroAsia FC 2:0.

Both boys played brilliantly this tournament with Rori working hard in defense and Jhy up front finding the back of the net twice. We couldn't be more proud!

YES!!! Our boys had a ripper day yesterday ⚽️💛🖤

First game beating Malaysia's VMA Senna 1:0.

It then became an Aussie showdown with the WA and SA state regional teams going head to head in the Quarter Finals. The boys decided to gift all the parents with increased blood pressure taking the game to penalties. Fortunately our boys stepped up and took the win, including a penalty from our very own Jhy (check comments for the video).

Well done lads, let's keep this momentum for the finals today 🙌
