ℹ️ Toh Ee Wei withdraws from Indonesia Open 2026
The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) confirms that Toh Ee Wei sustained a knee injury during her quarter-final match at the Singapore Open last week.
Subsequent MRI assessment revealed a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her left knee.
As a result, Toh Ee Wei and her mixed doubles partner Chen Tang Jie have withdrawn from the Indonesia Open 2026.
Ee Wei is scheduled to undergo a follow-up MRI assessment next Friday, after which BAM’s medical team will determine the next course of treatment and rehabilitation.
