JOHOR FENCING COACH EDUCATION SESSION 🤺

A casual learning and sharing session with Johor fencing coaches and club representatives, aimed at strengthening our understanding of the roles and responsibilities that come with coaching.

A coach's responsibility goes beyond simply showing up and conducting training. Behind every training session, there should be a clear plan, direction and objective. That is why having a training plan is important, not just to have one on paper, but to implement it, monitor it and follow through consistently.

A total of 7 Coach Education Sessions are planned as part of Johor Fencing's continuous effort to help fencing coaches across Johor strengthen their fundamentals in training planning and develop the knowledge and skills to plan and deliver their programmes more systematically.

Good coaching goes beyond the training session.

ONE TEAM. ONE JOURNEY. DEMI JOHOR. ❤️💙

SUKMA Selangor 2026 officially came to a close on 24 August, marking another chapter in the journey of Johor Fencing.

to our team dinner, a night to come together, reflect, appreciate the journey and the people behind the team.

From months of preparation and training camps to every fight carrying the Johor flag, every experience continues to shape the strength of this team.

Johor Fencing concluded this edition with 4 silver and 2 bronze medals, another experience that will continue to shape a team that keeps growing.

In sport, not every result goes our way. We take what is meant for us, and we keep working for what comes next.

To our athletes, coaches, officials, parents and everyone behind the team, thank you for the commitment, sacrifice and belief throughout this journey.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Majlis Sukan Negeri Johor (MSNJ) for the continuous support, trust and commitment towards the development of Johor Fencing.

What we have built together continues!

We grow.
We keep moving forward.
And when the time comes, we go again!

Demi Johor, always. ❤️💙

SILVER FROM MEN’S EPEE TEAM. 🥈🤺

A strong fight from our Men’s Epee Team all the way to the final.

Once again, Harith Arfa stepped up as one of the pillars of the team, alongside his teammates who fought hard, point by point, to take Johor onto the final stage.

More than the silver, this campaign showed something important, Johor has a Men’s Epee team that can fight, compete and challenge the best.

Congratulations & well done, boys. 🥈❤️💙
Thank you for the fight.

Demi Johor.

BRONZE FOR MEN’S SABRE TEAM. 🥉🤺

A fight that went all the way to the end.

They fought for every point and gave everything they had. This time, it just wasn’t meant for them, for Johor.

Congratulations & well done, boys. 🥉
Every fight, every effort, every experience counts.
Thank you for giving it everything you had.

SILVER FOR WOMEN’S EPEE. 🥈🤺

A heartbreaking finish to a fight they gave so much to.

The journey began with a 45–41 win over Sarawak in the quarter-final, followed by a 45–39 victory against Terengganu in the semi-final.

Then came the final against Penang. They fought, they led, and gave themselves every chance but the final eventually went the other way, 40–45.

Not the colour we hoped for,
but the result we accept with an open heart.

Congratulations on the silver, and thank you for giving everything for the team and for Johor. 🥈

Demi Johor.
