BSRC Junior Open Tournament 2026

Congratulations to our young player on an amazing achievement! 🏆👏

At just 10 years old, Rayhana stepped up to compete in age categories above her own and achieved:

🥇 U12 Singles – Champion
🥉 U16 Doubles – 2nd Runner-Up

Competing against older players is never easy, but she showed great determination, confidence and fighting spirit throughout the tournament. 💪🔥

A special thank you to Coach Jun Wen for his guidance, patience and dedication in training and developing her during this period. 🙏🏸

We are proud to see her taking on bigger challenges and continuing to grow as a player.

Keep training, keep improving, and keep challenging yourself! 🏸✨

🇧🇪🏸 A special moment for Coach Sim at the Yonex Belgian International 2026.

Meeting Peter Gade in Belgium was definitely a moment worth remembering. ❤️

Anyone who plays badminton knows Peter Gade — one of the four legends of the golden era of badminton, together with Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei and Taufik Hidayat.

But for Coach Sim, this meeting means even more.

Back when Coach Sim was still competing in state-level tournaments, there was a small routine she had almost every night before going to sleep:

📱 Watch Peter Gade’s badminton tutorials.

His footwork, strokes, deception and way of understanding the game were something she truly admired. At that time, Peter Gade was someone she looked up to and thought was simply… really damn good. 😂🏸

Years later, from watching his tutorials before bed to actually meeting the legend in person in Belgium…

Sometimes badminton brings you moments you never imagined would happen.

From a player who once looked up to a legend, to a coach who now gets to share the same badminton world.

A full-circle moment. ❤️🏸

Thank you, badminton, for bringing Coach Sim all the way here. 🇲🇾🇧🇪

🏸 Congrats to Jong Wan Jing! 👏🏻
Semi-Final & Final at the Allianz Junior Championship 2026

🥈 U13 Girls’ Singles – Runner-Up
🥉 U13 Girls’ Doubles – 2nd Runner-Up

Compared to last year’s results, this is a big improvement! 💪🏻🔥

There’s still a lot more to learn and improve, but what matters is that you’re moving forward step by step.

Thank you, Coach Nixon for guiding and leading her all the way to the finals! 👏🏻🏸
