As we enter the new year, there will be loads of posts celebrating successes, material gains, achievements and hitting milestones.

It’s difficult to not compare and feel little. Just remember that it’s perfectly fine if the only thing you did this year was just getting through it. Remember that successes mean differently to different people.

So as we move on, let’s leave these behind
: the toxic people around you, yes even if they are ‘family’
: trying to please everyone
: people who kept overstepping your boundaries
: comparing to others
: overthinking
: giving excuses to yourself and missing out on opportunities

May the new year also bring about righteousness and much needed humanity.

2024 came to an end. My final project of the year goes to my one of only baby sis. Started in 🇲🇾 finished in 🇯🇵 personal best time of 3 weeks.

Baby blanket made toddler size. The Asian in me tend to maximise shelf-life of everything, I would make it adult size if I could but that will take me forever to complete 😂

Made this for a set of twins, came to a dear friend after years of trying. Wanted to make 2 of similar pattern but then I thought yes, they are twins. They are also individuals. So both blankets are as different as night and day.

That’s what make my friends and I unique labour of luurve.

🧶 Should any of my yarn ends show through use,
don’t cut them off. Simply tuck them back in and am good as new.

🧶 I am machine washable on cold gentle cycle,
preferably in a laundry bag, in case some zipper
has a huuk on me.

🧶 I absolutely luurve a good tumble in the dryer. I come out all warm and soft and oh so fluufy!
