Yesterday’s Junior Qualifier Series (May 2026) at Kelana Course once again reminded us that development takes time, patience and many golf balls.
But that is junior golf. Nobody rushes greatness. 💪 🏌️♂️
Congratulations to all Juniors who participated and especially to those who levelled up to the next stage. From Level 1 all the way to Level 5, the improvement was genuinely encouraging to see.
And to our newest JQS graduates… congratulations. Your tutorial mode has officially ended. 😎
Whether you won medals, gained experience or won “most time spent reading the green”, well done. Golf is a long game. Sometimes very, very long apparently.

Yesterday, we welcomed Kota Permai Golf & Country Club to our home courts for the KLK Premier Inter-Club Tennis League Kuala Lumpur 2025 and walked away with a convincing 4-1 victory!
🎾 The rebuild is real.
Another strong outing. Another step forward. Very concerning for future opponents honestly. 💅🔥

The ABC Medal at Putra Course never disappoints, but today’s round came with an extra surprise. 🎯
First, Muhammad Firdaus Abdul Latif landed a bull’s eye and sent the crowd into celebration.
Then, before the excitement could even settle, Ismail Saripuddin from the very next flight stepped up and delivered another bull’s eye of his own!
Two Bull’s Eye winners in one day? Definitely not on anyone’s scorecard prediction.
Congratulations to all winners in the A, B and C Medal categories, our two (2) gentlemen for their incredible shots and everyone who walked away with lucky draw prizes. 😄🎁
What a day at Putra Course. 😮💨

“Fore”-thought matters.
Especially when it comes to family, wealth and legacy.
Today’s Will & Trust Service Talk by Octowill Trustees Berhad gave Members an insightful introduction to estate planning, family trusts and asset protection, covering everything from inheritance structures to preserving wealth across generations.
As shared during the talk: wealth can either become a lasting legacy… or a lasting dispute. The difference often lies in preparation.
Most people spend more time planning their next golf trip than their estate plan. Today’s talk politely challenged that. While wealth can be accumulated over a lifetime, preserving it, together with family harmony, requires intention.
Thank you to the speakers and all Members who attended today’s engaging session at the Club.

Happy Labour Day.
A well-deserved long weekend is here, which means one thing. Time off from work and hopefully, time well spent.
Some will choose to rest.
Some will travel.
Some will finally get around to doing absolutely nothing.
And some… will play golf.
We’re not saying which is better.
But the fairways will be ready, just in case.
However you choose to spend your weekend, we wish you a relaxing and enjoyable break.

A meaningful step forward for the Club 🤝
Last Saturday, KGNS and Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) reached an understanding to kickstart a drainage upgrading project along Jalan SS7/2, Kelana Jaya - an important initiative to improve flood mitigation in high-risk areas.
As part of this effort, the Club will be allocating a small area of Kelana Course holes 3, 4 and 13 to support the works. The agreement was signed by Datuk Bandar Petaling Jaya, Dato' Hj Mohamad Zahri, and the Club's Vice President, Mr Abdul Majid.
There will be some temporary disruption to play at these holes, with works expected to be completed by November 2026.
We appreciate your understanding as we play our part in supporting a safer and more resilient community 💚
More on the story will be featured in the upcoming edition of KGNS Subang Quarterly - stay tuned!

A tough result, but the fight continues.
We had the pleasure of hosting Royal Lake Club yesterday for our second match in the KLK Premier Inter-Club Tennis League Kuala Lumpur 2025. It was a closely fought battle, ending 2–3 in favour of the visitors.
Our opening away match on 11th April against Sunway Lagoon Club also saw us go down 1–4. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. We learn, we adjust and we move forward.
Next up: Kota Permai Golf & Country Club on 9th May, right here at home.
Slowly but surely… We push through 💯🎾

A new Queen has taken the crown 👑
Congratulations to our very own Lim Ai Lynn on winning the Kelana Queen Open 2026, held yesterday at Kelana Course!
She secured the title with an impressive round of 70, overcoming defending champion Nur Ain Qistina, who finished at 74.
And here’s the best part… she’s one of our newest members, having just joined in November 2025! Not a bad way to start your membership journey 😉
Curious how she navigated Kelana Course and where those crucial birdies happened? Stay tuned for her Champion Interview video, coming soon 🎥
Our sincere appreciation goes to the Organising Committee, staff, volunteers and sponsors for their invaluable support in making this tournament a success.
Thank you as well to all participants for being part of this memorable event.
To the winners, well played. To those who came close, we’ll see you again next year!
