After two days of golf at the Kelana Course, Chiew Kok Hoong & Choong Koon Wah have given themselves a very good reason to keep the partnership going. With a winning total of 124, the pair took the Subang Classic 2026 title! 🏆👏

Congratulations to our champions, all winners and novelty prize achievers, and of course, everyone who came out to make the Subang Classic another great weekend of golf.

Now the big question...

Do we run it back with the same partner next time, or is it time to test a new combination? 👀

For the gentlemen, that question can wait.

For the ladies, we’re about to find out. 🏌️‍♀️

Next up at Kelana Course, the Ladies’ Classic Trophy 2026 on 17 October. Find the player who complements your game and see what your partnership can produce over 18 holes. Registration opens tomorrow at 12.00 noon on 5 October via MyKGNS App.

Subang Classic done. Ladies, the next partnership test is yours. ⛳

⛳ Day 1 Done. Now for the Decider.

The morning began under a rather questionable-looking sky, with a few golfers wondering whether the rain would let them finish their rounds.

Fortunately, the weather decided to cooperate, and Day 1 of the KGNS Subang Classic 2026 at the Kelana Course carried on without the interruption everyone had been watching the sky for.

Now, attention turns to tomorrow. The final-round draw is available on the MyKGNS App, so check your tee-off details and be ready for one last trip around Kelana.

One more round. Plenty still to play for. 👀🏆

🎱 Two days of pool. Plenty at stake. A few partnerships nearly at stake too. 🥶

Held over 26 & 27 September 2026, the KGNS In-House 8-Ball Doubles Challenge 2026 proved that doubles can test more than just your skill at the table. There were missed shots, disagreements and a few questionable decisions, but nobody walked out, the balls kept dropping and the partnerships somehow survived.

And what a result. Kevin Paul & Faizal Zaharudin emerged as Champions! 🏆 Even former KGNS Pool Champions Kesvaran Murugasu (2024 & 2025) and Yip Khay Koon (2022 & 2023) could not stop the surprise run to the title. Yip Khay Koon & Amer Khalef finished as Runners-Up, while Kesvaran Murugasu & Balu Krishnan and Lee Yew Wei & Tan Chee Siang shared 3rd place.

A good partnership does not mean agreeing on every shot. Sometimes, you disagree, regroup and somehow end up holding the trophy together. Congratulations to all our players, and especially our Champions, Kevin & Faizal! 🎱

⛳ Parents, your job is not over yet.

The Junior may be the one holding the club, but Mum and Dad still have plenty to do. Carry the bag. Keep the water ready. Offer the occasional “take your time”. Celebrate the good shots. Stay calm after the bad ones. And, most importantly, try not to play the round for them. 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

It is all part of helping a young golfer learn, compete and enjoy the game. So, to all our parents and parent-caddies walking beside them, thank you for being part of the journey.

At yesterday’s September Junior Qualifier Series, Lucas Jay Tham Zi Xuan took the top spot with an impressive gross score of 28, followed by Harry Hrshikesh Gutala on 29. Mariam Liza Yusoof secured third place on countback, while Enoch Low and Raees Iman completed the Top 5.

And another milestone worth celebrating. 🎓 Congratulations to Faris Anwar, Aiden Kok Kiayi and Chong Kenway on graduating from the KGNS Junior Qualifier Series!

To our Juniors, keep playing and learning. To our parents and parent-caddies, keep the encouragement coming. Your job isn’t over yet. There are still plenty of rounds, lessons and golf balls to go. 😄⛳

⛳ SEPTEMBER MEDALS - NOTHING'S STOPPING THIS LOT!

It was a hazy start for our Senior Golfers, Ladies & Juniors Medals yesterday morning, with conditions concerning enough that it prompted some deliberation over whether the games should proceed.

But our golfers were keen to carry on - and thankfully, by around 10.00 a.m., the haze began to clear a little and things were looking up!☀️

Come rain, drought or even haze, this lot certainly knows how to keep the game going. Seniors, Ladies, or Juniors - age and gender take a back seat when everyone shares the same love for the game. 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

A big thank you to everyone who turned up, persevered and brought some sunshine of your own to the course yesterday! With the current hazy conditions, do take care, stay hydrated and limit unnecessary time outdoors.

Here are some highlights from yesterday's round! 📸⛳
