What a way to wrap up SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026 - Overall Champion on home ground!

Congratulations to all Selangor athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and everyone who played a part in bringing home 101 gold, 73 silver and 71 bronze medals. 🥇🥈🥉

Every medal came with its own story of hard work, long hours and determination. Together, they put Selangor right at the top of the table. A proud achievement for Selangor and a wonderful celebration of our young sporting talents. Syabas, Team Selangor! 👏🔥

And speaking of celebrating... today’s Cuti Peristiwa feels especially well-earned.🤩

Our Members came together last night in their Jalur Gemilang colours for an evening of live music, good company and plenty of Merdeka spirit as we counted down to Malaysia’s 69th Independence Day.

And of course, no Merdeka Eve at the Club would be complete without the annual cake-cutting, led by Club President Dato’ Donald Lim. 🎂🇲🇾

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the celebration!

And if you thought we were done celebrating Malaysia, not quite. 😉 Muhibah Trophy & Muhibah Night 2026 is coming up on 16th September as we come together once again, this time for Malaysia Day.

After a four-year break, the KGNS vs RPGC interclub match is back! ⛳

The last time we met was at KGNS in 2022, and this time, RPGC welcomed us to their home course. The scoreboard may have favoured RPGC 20-8, but the real win was getting this friendly rivalry going again and renewing the camaraderie between our two clubs.

Thank you to RPGC for the warm hospitality and to all our KGNS players for making the trip and giving it a good fight. We may have lost this round, but we're not calling it quits just yet. 😉⛳

MY Classic Cars is making a comeback at KGNS this Merdeka Day for their 13th MY Classic Cars Merdeka Charity Drive, happening this 31st August!

Around 60 classic cars will be making their way to the Club, so if you’re around KGNS on Monday morning, keep an eye out - there’ll be plenty of beautiful classics to admire! 👀🚗

With our spacious grounds and facilities, KGNS makes a great setting for a gathering of this scale and we’re happy to have MY Classic Cars back with us for another memorable Merdeka Day.

To our Members, do catch the cars as they roll in and gather around the Club. 🇲🇾✨

The KGNS contingent took to the stage at the 34th Inter-Club Karaoke Competition at Royal Selangor Club last Saturday evening, and by the end of the night, Team KGNS didn’t leave empty-handed:

🥈 Overall 1st Runner-Up

The winning voices belonged to siblings Haslan Hussain & Syukri Hussain, who took the Duet Champion title with their rendition of Kembara's “Hati Emas”. 🎶

A special shoutout also goes to Lesley Yong, Hussain Shaari and Ir. Ts. Ahmad Rezahan Mohammad, who proudly represented the Club in their respective performances.

And to the Club Members who made the trip to cheer on the team, you may not have held the microphone, but you certainly helped turn up the volume. Thank you for bringing the support from KGNS all the way to the competition floor. 👏

Congratulations Team KGNS! We’ll see you back on stage next year, with our sights set on the top spot. 🎤🏆

While many youngsters spend their school years simply enjoying adolescence, these six KGNS Juniors have chosen to work a little harder and dream a little bigger - taking their passion for golf all the way to the SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026 stage at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club from August 18 to 20.

A huge congratulations to Rizq Adam and Chan Jun Han, our very own 2026 Junior Boy Club Champion, who represented Selangor and brought home Gold in the Boys' Team category, with Rizq also claiming Individual Gold! 🥇🏅

Congratulations also to Nik Alicia Miriam Kamil, the Club's four-time Junior Girl Champion, and Dalia Tang Imran, our 2026 Junior Girl Club Champion, who represented Wilayah Persekutuan and secured Bronze in the Girls' Team category. 🥉

And just as proudly, congratulations to Woo Kay-Lynn and Nik Amelia Mikayla Kamil for earning their places at SUKMA and representing Kelantan on the course. 👏🏼

Different contingents, different flag colours, but KGNS is proud to share in celebrating the achievements of all six of you. 💙 From the early days of your golfing journeys at the Club to competing on a national sporting stage, it has been a pleasure watching your commitment and ambitions grow.

You've flown the colours of the states you represented proudly, but wherever golf takes you, carry a little KGNS true-blue spirit with you. 💙

Ryan Vong Junying has done it!

After a tightly contested Final against Haziq Iman, Ryan held his nerve to close out the match 1-up today and claim the Tan Sri Megat Najmuddin Trophy 2026.

And what a run it has been. 3rd in the Men Championship. Carlsberg Golf Classic Qualifying Round Champion. Now Tan Sri Megat Najmuddin Trophy Champion. Three tournaments. Three podium finishes. Some run he’s putting together. 👏

Well played, too, to Haziq Iman Imran, Austin Gan Zi Ming and Afiffuddin Abd Aziz, who battled their way into the Final Four.
