Pressing your tummy will NOT lift your uterus.

This is a very common myth, especially after delivery.

From an anatomical and medical perspective, the uterus is a deep pelvic organ.

It is supported by ligaments, fascia, and the pelvic floor muscles not by the surface of your abdominal skin.

So when someone:
• presses the tummy
• massages aggressively
• ties something tightly around the waist

they are not pushing the uterus up.
What actually happens instead 👇🏻

• Temporary compression of soft tissue
• Reduced blood flow if done excessively
• Increased pressure downward onto the pelvic floor

In some cases, repeated external pressure can worsen symptoms like:
• Pelvic heaviness
• Urine leaks
• Lower back or pelvic pain

One month ago, a mom of 3 texted us.

She wanted help for her flabby tummy and urine leak.
After a full consultation, I found out she had diastasis recti but more than that, she had deep emotional wounds.

She was living with a narcissistic husband who constantly belittled her.

Three weeks ago, a mom of three walked into my Diastasis Recti Wellness Centre.

Her husband looked at me and said softly, “I’ve spent close to RM33,000 already. All I want is for her to feel like herself again.”

They had tried yoga, Pilates, personal training, chiropractic adjustments, magnetic therapy pants, EMSella chair, EMSculpt sessions, even manual posture correction,none had worked. Some gave temporary relief, most made no difference.

And the core issues? Still there.
She still had:

👉 lower back pain
👉constant bloating and a flabby tummy
👉urine leakage whenever she laughed or lifted her youngest child

Ladies, please read this before trying anything you see online for Diastasis Recti…

Last week, a couple walked into my centre seeking help for a flabby tummy. The wife was already diagnosed with Diastasis Recti by her gynae and, while looking for solutions, she came across a girl on TikTok promoting gut supplements and Diastasis Recti exercises.

Thinking it was worth a try, she followed those exercises for a week.
The result?

Her urine leakage got worse… and she started experiencing severe lower abdominal cramps.

When I asked her to show me the videos, I was shocked.
The exercises were completely wrong for her condition and made it worse.

2 weeks ago ,a mother of two came to my centre. She had been diagnosed with stage 2 uterine prolapse where the uterus starts to drop down due to weak support inside the pelvis.

She looked very tired. Her eyes were restless, and she kept jumping from one topic to another, speaking very fast. Her gaze was shifting often & she avoided direct eye contact, a common behavioral pattern in individuals experiencing heightened psychological stress.

She told me she had seen a gynecologist and a physiotherapist, but nothing really helped.

Then she said something that stayed with me
“I just want to feel strong again. Im scared that im going to die soon leaving my toddlers as orphans”

I didn’t rush to give her advice or solutions.I just listened.

And when she paused, I gently asked,
“Would it be okay if I told you the honest truth?”

She said yes.

I told her, “What you need now is not more medicine or another quick fix. You need to start healing from the inside. Your body is not weak,your nervous system is overwhelmed.”
