Mums, let's be honest. 😅

If you could permanently remove ONE thing from your weekly to-do list, which would you choose?

A. 🧺 Laundry

B. 🍳 Cooking

C. 🧹 Cleaning

D. 📚 School / children’s stuff

E. 📱 Constant messages & family coordination

F. Something else

For me, I think the hardest one isn't even the actual task…

It's having to remember that it needs to be done in the first place.

😂

Which one are you choosing? A, B, C, D, E or F?

Mum, do you ever feel like if you don't do it… nobody will?

The meals.
The appointments.
The school matters.
The shopping.
The messages.
The planning.
The remembering.

And somehow, we convince ourselves:

“It's just easier if I do it myself.”

But is it?

Sometimes, being a good mother doesn't mean doing everything.

Sometimes, it means teaching the people around us to carry their share too.

Because you are a mother.

You don't have to be everyone's assistant, organiser, reminder, and problem-solver. ❤️

What is ONE thing you wish your family would take responsibility for?

There is a job mothers do that nobody puts in the job description.

Remembering.

Who needs what.
When the school project is due.
What needs to be bought.
When the appointment is.
Who has to be where.
What the family is having for dinner.

Nobody sees most of it.

But somehow, Mum is expected to remember everything.
I call this the Invisible Job. And sometimes, the hardest part isn't actually doing the task. It's carrying the mental list of 100 things that haven't been done yet.

So here's something I'm learning:

Not everything that needs to be done needs to be done by me.

❤️

Mums, what's one thing you are always expected to remember?

A little thought for the mother who is doing EVERYTHING.

What if being a good mother doesn't mean doing everything yourself?

What if leadership means knowing:

What is truly yours to carry...
and what isn't?

You don't have to be the person who remembers every appointment.

You don't have to solve every problem.

You don't have to personally do every household task.

Sometimes being the CEO of your life means deciding what needs you — and what can be shared, delegated or simply let go.

I'm learning this too.

What is one thing you wish someone else would take off your plate?

Tell me in the comments. I have a feeling many mothers are carrying the same thing. ❤️

I used to think being a good mother meant doing everything myself.

Remembering everything.
Planning everything.
Solving everything.
Being available for everyone.

And, honestly, I was pretty good at it.

But there was a problem.

The better I became at carrying the load, the more everyone depended on me to carry everything.

That was a turning point for me.

I realised I didn't need to become better at carrying the load. I needed to learn how to lead the system.

That's one of the biggest lessons motherhood has taught me.

And I'm still learning.

Have you ever had that moment when you realised, “Wait... why am I responsible for all of this?”

I'd love to hear your story.

MUM TEST. 😂

Be honest…

When your family says:

“Mum, where is ______?”

Do you usually know the answer?

😂 YES — because I know where EVERYTHING is.

or

😩 NO — I’m officially done being the family search engine.

Which one are you?

A or B?

Nobody sees this part of motherhood.

Who remembers when the school project is due?

Who knows what food is running out?

Who remembers the doctor's appointment?

Who knows which child needs new shoes?

Who is thinking about Mum's health?

Who knows what needs to happen tomorrow?

And when someone asks:

“What did you do today?”

Sometimes the answer is...

“Everything.”

But nobody saw most of it.

This is what I call the invisible job.

And I want to ask you something:

What is one thing you carry in your head every day that nobody else in your family even knows you're carrying?

Tell me in the comments. ❤️

Welcome to my page. ❤️

If you are a mother who sometimes feels like you are carrying the whole world on your shoulders, I created this space for you.

I know what it feels like to be a mother, a daughter, a wife, a professional — and the person everyone turns to when something needs to be done.

For years, I thought the answer was simply to manage everything better.

But I eventually realised something important:

We don't need to carry everything. We need better ways to lead our lives.

These ideas are at the heart of my book, Off the Overloaded Trolley, and they are also the ideas I want to explore with you here.

I'll be sharing practical thoughts about motherhood, time, family, systems, leadership and building income — without sacrificing what matters most.

My hope is that this becomes a place where mothers feel understood, encouraged and empowered to create a life that works for them and their families.

I'm so glad you're here. ❤️

I'd love to get to know you.

What's one thing you're carrying right now that you'd love to put down?
