Japan made it a debut to remember at the 4thย Selangor International Junior Golf Championship, winning both the boysโ and girlsโ team titles at Seri Selangor Golf Club.
In the girlsโ event, the Japanese quartet ofย Yuka Nishina, Mana Yoshizaki, Tsukiha Nakashima and Rui Hatada combined for a winning total of five-over-par 653, 15 strokes ahead of the Thai team of Sarisa Pojanalai, Chutimon Rujiranan, Satonkan Thiengsri and Krittiya Thanintomdamrongdej.
The boysโ event meanwhile saw the Japanese team of Taisei Nagasaki, Sakutoshi Yamazaki, Miller Sato and Yutaka Saito triumph with a total ofย two-under-par 646,ย 12 shots clear of the Thai team of Thanattasorn Supinraj, Kobsak Phisibuntoon, Pongpanot Jeenakul and Sarunyapong Hongamata. The Malaysian Golf Association team of Anson Yeo Boon Xiang, Andrew Yap, Nathan Wong Tsen Jack and Ezekiel Riz Hafi Suzearitz finished third on 16-over-par 664.
The individual girlsโ and boysโ titles were won by Thailandโs Sarisa Pojanalai and Koreaโs Jung Ji Won, respectively.

Players from the Land of the Rising Sun shone in Round 2 of the 4th Selangor International Junior Golf Championship.
Powered by a six-under-par 66 from Sakutoshi Yamazaki at Seri Selangor Golf Club, the Japanese team of Yamazaki, Taisei Nagasaki, Miller Sato and Yutaka Saito topped the boys' team leaderboard with a 36-hole total of five-over-par 437. They are three shots ahead of first day leaders, the Philippines.
In the girlsโ team event, the Japanese quartet of Yuka Nishina, Mana Yoshizaki, Tsukiha Nakashima and Rui Hatada lead with a two-day aggregate of six-over-par 438, seven shots clear of the Thai team.
In the individual standings, Korean Jung Ji Won leads the boys by four shots, while Vietnamโs Le Chuc An leads the girls by two.

Korean Jung Ji Won and Vietnamโs Le Chuc An signed in opening rounds of five-under-par 67 to top the individual boysโ and individual girlsโ standings respectively in the 4th SIJGC at Seri Selangor Golf Club
The Philippines team of Shinichi Suzuki, Miko Granada, Tristan Padilla and Santino Pineda leads the race for the boysโ team title with a combined score of two-over-par 218.
The girls' team event saw Mana Yoshizaki, Yuka Nishina, Rui Hatada and Tsukiha Nakashima
power Japan to a commanding five-shot lead with a one-over-par 217 first day score.

The teams from South Korea and China (Hainan) showed their prowess to emerge as winners of the team and individual events at the third Selangor International Junior Golf Championship.
On an exciting final day at Kelab Golf Seri Selangor, Byun Jiyool coasted to victory in the girlsโ individual event and powered the South Korean team to the girlsโ team title. Meanwhile, Shijun Jing of China (Hainan) hung on to claim the boysโ individual title and led his team to top place in the boysโ team event.

Koreaโs Byun Jiyool and Chinaโs Shijun Jing will head into tomorrowโs final round of the third Selangor International Junior Golf Championship leading the girlsโ and boysโ individual events respectively.
In the team events, the South Korean girlsโ team and the China (Hainan) boysโ team continue to lead with 18 holes to go at Kelab Golf Seri Selangor.
