27 July '25 - BeCause is happy to take part in the fund raising event of NASAM Food & Fun Fair. It's been 8 years since the last event before COVID lockdown. Friends are joyous to meet up again in this meaningful activity.

Today Because doctors revisited Shan Ai and Shan Dai charity homes. In addition to paediatric and general medicines we have 2 dentists to check on the oral hygiene of the children and senior folks of the Homes. Shan Ai and Shan Dai were where we started our Health Program one year ago, it's good to follow up after the 1st health check and monitor the progress of their inmates.
BeCause Society also made a donation to Shan Dai to cover the shortage of their October operational expenditure.

16/6/24 Fathers' Day - BeCause Team conducted it's 2024 Health Program at Bodhihome Centre. A total of 50+ seniors and children had their vision tested and general health-check carried out by a group of kind and caring doctors who came from Klang Valley, Melaka and Penang. It's a meaningful day for all who took part. Thank you 🫶

We are saddened to inform that our Comm member, Mr. Leslie Chong, passes on today. Leslie had a kind , compassionate heart and always first to offer his time to any charitable activities. He will be missed by all those who have known him. He's a filial son to his late mother, driving 500km + every weekend to visit her in Johore and a caring brother to his siblings. RIP Bro 🙏

BeCause Health Program #2 was successfully carried out on 27/8/23 at Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak- Anak Yatim dan OKU Mesra Petaling Jaya. We have three more doctors ( two general practitioners and a dermatologist) coming on board besides our two eye specialists and a pediatrician who have kindly started this program in May this year.

Subsequent to the general and eye check-up carried out on 14/5/23 Founder of Advance Vision, Dr Yeoh, has kindly offered to remove cataracts FOC for the 2 inmates from Shan Dai and Shan Ai on 25/5/23.

On 14/5/2023 BeCause with the kind service offered by Dr Naganathan, Dr Lim Yew Leong, Dr Lim Huey Ling and Dr Gan PS conducted free general medical and eye check up to the inmates of Pertubuhan Pusat Penjagaan Kanak Kanak Cacat Shan Dai and Shan Ai (Home for Old Folks & Disabled Children). Some volunteers helped guide the young children and mentally challenged adults through the check-up procedures while others helped keep the young children occupied with games.
